Lumen asked. "Apart from working here, the book club is good." "Yeah? What are you currently reading?" "The book club usually has three books at a time we're reading through. One of Sonny's books, one personal development and one for entertainment. I've finished the first two. I'm on to The Hobbit now." "Oh yeah?" Max perked up. "I really liked that one as a kid. It took me longer to get into Lord of the Rings." For the first time, Aspen actually had a little life in her eyes. "Yeah? I've heard it gets really bogged down in description."

Medieval Princess

Medieval Princess

He pathetically begged for her to stay. “The name of the protagonist was Bilbo Baggins. He was short, face so comely and he does not like anything related to traveling. So he is indeed a home kind of a fellow. I mean all the people in Shire share the same perspective as him. They are just simple folks in that simple town.” He had read the book too and was pretty sure that it is not translated to any language rather than into Romanian dialect. How can this woman read those kind of books?

Where Zombies Walk (Book 1 Kendra's Journey)

Where Zombies Walk (Book 1 Kendra's Journey)

Kendra sat in the library with the book, The Hobbit, opened on her lap. When Rex had first shown the room that was lined with books to her, she’d been both intimidated and overwhelmed. She was taught to read by Olga, but the availability of reading material was limited. Therefore, her reading skills were wanting.

One Night Stand With The Billionaire Boss

One Night Stand With The Billionaire Boss

Embarrassed to say I’ve watched those movies about eight times! Me:Only eight? Lightweight. I must have seen them all twenty times! I watched them all in one day once. Alice:Me too, LOL. Have yet to watch all the Hobbit and all LOTR in one day though. Me:That would be fun. Maybe we should try it. I press send, my lips curving up. Alice:Ha! The man has stamina. Me:That would be telling :-) Alice:Oh, I see what I’m dealing with here :-)

Raising My Enemy's Disciple

Raising My Enemy's Disciple

And she also wanted to thank the author of the book she was reading, it’s a pretty good guide for raising children. Yes, the book she was reading was a guide to parenting. It was in the pile of books she hoarded at the storage room that she never read as she thought it was useless. She just picked it up from a traveling merchant as her interest was picked by the title. ‘A Guide to Raising Hobbits.’ She thought it was funny that’s why she brought it, that was the time where the drive to pursue knowledge and magic was at peak. And her drive to pursue such worldly magic and knowledge, she stumbles upon the forbiddens lines.

Friendship's Last Bite

Friendship's Last Bite

Almost. Then, a scream ripped through the idyllic scene. A high, keening wail that sliced through the quiet like shattered glass. I slowly abandoned The Hobbit. From the safety of the porch door, I cautiously looked past my yard. My parents' house was nestled on the corner of two quiet residential streets, usually peaceful, so the ear-piercing cry rang like a bell of despair.

SECRET OBSESSION

SECRET OBSESSION

Fucking the Dragon always left her sore, but the payoff was worth it. Setting the alarm, she crawled into bed, intending to read for another hour. Lifting the blankets away from the sheets, she caught it out of the corner of her eye, the gap in her bookshelves. The Hobbit lay at an angle, the space Jenny had occupied now empty.

I'm going to warn you beforehand to wear your helmet, for this is going to be another hell of a bumpy ride. Until then, let's all savor this first installation; reread it, and you might find some clues as to whaat's going to unfold in the second book.

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

Ruin Me : Sinful Shots compilation

Ruin Me : Sinful Shots compilation

"Play nice, I'm going to change." When we sat back on the couch, John covered our legs with the blanket. It felt like sparks were running between us where our skin touched, making me feel so confused. "I wish BF were here." "What?" John asked, looking up from his book. "Did I say that out loud? Sorry, I'm a million miles away." "Are you really okay?" "Yes, like I said, just tired." I reached behind the lamp and grabbed my book. It was an old paperback copy of The Hobbit, from my Dad's bookshelf. The movie was out, but I wanted to read the story again before I saw it on Christmas day.

Hunter's Revenge

Hunter's Revenge

Attention Hunter's Revenge is the sequel to the book 'The Mark'. It is highly recommended to read this after reading 'The Mark' for better understanding. Hunter's Revenge can be read as a stand-alone book, but I do not recommend it. I will not be providing insight to characters from 'The Mark'. So in order to properly enjoy the reading experience, I recommend not reading Hunter's Revenge without reading 'The Mark' first. I promise you won't regret reading it.
