After he took all the black pills Jim gave him, he couldn’t speak or hear. No matter how hard he stared at Jim, all he could make out was the latter’s lips opening and closing. He ran through the movements in his mind, and finally pinned down on a keyword that kept appearing: Diana. Simon’s face changed. With trembling hands, he grabbed a pen and paper, and scribbled, “Don’t touch her.” Don’t touch Diana. Otherwise, he would haunt Jim’s dreams after he died! Jim wasn’t afraid of ghosts, which he firmly believe to not exist. They were merely figments of people’s imagination that served to ignite fear.

He had a lot of women present literally drooling over him as he stood there, smiling widely and exchanging pleasantries with anyone who cared to entertain him. Simon had not changed one bit; still as charismatic as he always was. He outstretched his arm to me, and I took the hand after only barely a second of trying to resist, and instead of walking inside right away, he bent to whisper against my ear, "I was right about you and Grace being the same person, wasn't I? You are not really dead, are you?" I almost froze, not expecting the question at all. But I caught myself before I would give anything away.

Together, we cleaved through the wall of shadows, each strike punctuated with Simon’s curses. He encountered us amidst a surge of dark energy, with his eyes radiating a crimson glow. "You can not stop destiny!" he exclaimed, engaging in a clash against Andres' blade with a resounding impact. “Destiny?” I snarled, flinging a burst of moonfire that scorched his chest. “You don’t control destiny. You manipulate people, destroy the good and tonight that ends here.” His hand shot out, seizing my throat, lifting me off my feet. I gasped, silver fire flickering under his crushing grip. “You’re nothing, Valentina,” Simon spat, his breath rancid. “A scarred, useless—”

Does this old hag have a hand in my parent death? Simon nodded obediently, his eyes betraying a hint of remorse but it might be an act Simon is an evil beast that will never be remorseful . "I understand. This time, I won't fail." Spoke his voice a-bit above whisper The Omega's gaze lingered on him, her expression grave. "Good. Once this is done, you must disappear. I don't want you coming back to see me or trying to contact me. I'll reach out to you when the time is right.

Simon said standing and gently taking my hand. "Vampires aren't real. I don't know what happened to you the last two years, but now that your home we can get you the help you need" Simon told me nicely as he pet my hand like he would an injured puppy. Is he trying to call me crazy? Of course he is! It's Simon! I pulled my hand back . "Sy I'm not crazy" I said a little offended by his assessment of my sanity. The expression on his face was enough to know he didn't believe me.

He screeched his car on the entrance, he didn’t hoot his horns, the maids were not around, opened his door and opened the gate for himself. “I went to get some fruits for Amanda, her health…” he stammered, the words that came out made no sense, they had just shopped for groceries a day earlier. Melina looked at him with doubts in her eyes, she raised her brows and frowned her cheeks, she did not buy his excuse.

After a few more moments of talking Simon realized I was not paying attention to him at all, “Hey man. What’s wrong? You look like you have seen a ghost.” I slowly looked at my best friend and if I liked it or not, he deserved an explanation, “No. not a ghost. But I just realized we both the same club where Mandy works.” His eyes grew in size again and he uttered just one word, “Fuck!” and I could not agree more with him.

Everywhere he stationed his men were filled with the corpses of the soldiers. Damned animal monsters! Just how many of them are out here!? He's gonna kíll all of them! Simon's heart skipped a beat. He immediately released his remaining vital energy, hoping to divert the Shadow Guardian's attention. Sensing Simon's energy surge, the Shadow Guardian's gaze fixated on him. From his perspective, Simon was simply making a final desperate attempt. "Stubborn fool." The Shadow Guardian sneered. Aiming his pale, deathly hand at Simon, he grasped the air. Suddenly, the black wave of intense erosive power surged toward Simon like a ranging tsunami, capable of obliterating everything in its path.

“Ghost is careful. He doesn’t trust people easily. But he has a network people in high places, people you wouldn’t expect.” Matteo scoffed. “That is not news.” Viktor gave a weak smile. “I wasn’t finished.” He looked at Adrian. “There is a man, someone close to him. No one knows his real name, but they call him Specter. He is Ghost’s right hand.” Adrian’s fingers tapped against his knee. “And what does Specter do?” Viktor’s lips twitched. “Everything Ghost doesn’t want to do himself.” Rosco spoke for the first time. “Where do we find him?”
