I said. As we continued to talk, the sun began to set, and the sky turned a beautiful shade of pink and orange. We reminisced about old times and caught up on what had happened in each other's lives since we had last spoken. Before I knew it, it was dark outside, and we were both shivering from the cold. "We should probably head back," I said, standing up and stretching my legs. Brandon stood up as well and helped me gather our things. As we were packing up, I stumbled and fell into him, causing us to fall onto the blanket we had been sitting on. My heart raced as I realized we were in an intimate position, and I quickly tried to get up.

It was the final piece of the foundation we had been building since the night everything fell apart. "Yes," I said, leaning my head back and closing my eyes. "We are." That was enough.

We both winced in pain before processing what had happened.

Felt her try to catch me. We both went down. Then everything went black.

Exalia’s pov. The fall was so terrible and it felt like it would never end. There wa so utter darkness all around us, and i couldn’t see any one. No one would understand the fear and doubt that was going on in my head except me, I had thought that we were falling to our deaths and we would die in this forest.
