I said as the noise got louder. "Alright, I just mind linked Xander. He is coming." Johnny said as he sat back down. We heard a loud bang outside before all noises stopped. "Xander still has some paperwork to do and then he will be back," Johnny said after a few minutes. I couldn't help but yawn. "Go lay down I will stay out here until Alpha returns." I did as Johnny suggested. I walked to the room and laid in the soft bed and fell asleep fast.

I should have just listened to Susan, Orion, Lady Megan and all the other elders I had talked to— they all said that power without spilling of blood was weak. I kept telling myself that it was just stupid but I guess they were right. But I can't afford to die now, not after what I have been through. “Think, Xena. Think,” I muttered to myself. Sophie arrived early, as always. The training yard was still dewy, the sun not yet hot, but already Jax and Johnny were working up a sweat.
