“You seem to be back to your normal self now anyway.” I whined. “But Six-” “I said that I was done.” He snapped. “And that’s final.” Six then stomped his way over the bathroom and slammed the door shut. I jumped a little bit at the loud smacking noise that the door made and then frowned at myself for jumping. I blamed my jitters on the nightmare I just had and called it a day. That horrible nightmare had really thrown me off. To have Luis be the victim and Six the villain was something that I never would have imagined in a hundred years and yet it had happened.

It was the hardest as well. It was later than he would normally come, so she knew she was safe from having to see him. she placed the box on the nightstand by June’s bed. It had his name written on the top of it. She took off the headphones that had her voice talking and turned off the mp3 player and placed it on the nightstand as well. These are definitely two things that would give normal people nightmares, and Everly is a combination of those things. We decided to call her Ever as a cute nickname and Little Nightmare as her nickname for when she is driving us crazy.

When the attendants were sure I was okay, they left. When it was just the two of us, Devyn settled back into his seat, but he leaned closer, resting his arms on my thighs. Their mouths rattled and moved at high speed. GRAAAAAAAAWRRRRRRR!!!!

The nightmare tore through my consciousness like shattered glass. Blood-soaked walls. Screaming children. Santa Muerte's skeletal form hovering over twin beds. "They're coming," the death saint whispered. I jolted awake, my skin glowing with an eerie blue light. The security monitors flickered and died. "Mommy?" Sofia's voice crackled through the baby monitor. "Luna's crying." Three explosions rocked the compound. The front gates groaned. "Stay in your room!" I grabbed my phone, already running. "Lock the door!"
