Archie smiles and hands over the sketchbook to her. Melanie mouthed a ‘thank you’ as she collect the book from him. She flip the first page and smile at what he drew. It was a sketch of a tree with no leave. She flip to the next page and her eyes widen in shock, it was a drawing of a bird with no eyes. “This is what I called ‘masterpiece’,” she nods at the sketch which sent her to a land of fantasy. She keeps on flipping through the book till she gets to the middle of the book. Archie cross his arms over his chest as he wanted to see the look on her face in the next sketch.

Jade screamed angrily, tearing out and crumpling up a sheet of paper from her sketchbook. She threw it across the room and it landed on the floor close to the door, increasing the litter of crumpled paper and broken pencils in the room. She took a new pencil from behind her ears, her fingers shaky as she began to draw lines and curves, in readiness for another sketch. Let me just go grab a stick to draw on the ground then do a summoning ninja jutsu with my blood!” I said with a fake enthusiastic voice. “Can you do that?” Apparently Nate didn't get the memo that I was a joker that he actually believed me.
