Omega Bound
My balance wavers, I clench my jaw and dig my heels in to stay upright.
When my body betrays me it's not a complete collapse, it a small fracture in the cracked system but not visible enough for the crowd to understand. Just a heartbeat, a softening.
My knees dip a fraction, my head tilts before I can stop it, my Omega instincts, old, buried, forbidden but not forgotten, I recognize something I was never meant to feel here.
I'm going to submit to Kieran Vale like an unmated Omega in front of everyone, the sharp intake of breath of the crowds gasp has me fighting it.
