His gaze first landed on her bleeding hand, and then his eyes roamed over her exposed skin, taking in the bruises and marks that were taking far too long to heal because she was an Omega. She was covered in cuts and bruises, and he struggled with his emotions as his gaze repeatedly returned to her perky nipples peeking through the remnants of her shirt and the astonishing curve of her waist.

Cosmo grabbed it softly in both hands as his newest Creation came to life but slammed it into the concrete each time she struggled, until she was still. Blood was everywhere. It pooled on the floor and snaked along the girl’s body. Her exposed brain was battered to slush so it oozed out with the oddly coloured fluid surrounding it. Her skull was cracked open for all to see while Cosmo stood triumphantly over it. He flicked the gore from his hands and stepped on the body as he walked towards the table. “Who’s next?” he called out to the others “don’t want to fight the blind one now?”

They do delivery runs here?" Howie blinked. Darren said nothing. Just stared, eyes narrowing. He'd seen glitchy NPCs before—but this one felt... real. Then it happened. The girl didn't stop. She gunned that junk scooter straight into the domain wall between Crimson Keep and Haunted High. One of their teammates had straight-up disintegrated trying that.

“Not in an official sense. But… the Headmaster asked us to watch over certain students with potential. She was one of them.” I took a slow step forward. “We failed her.” I stepped closer, softer now. “I’m telling you this because I trust you, Aria. You want to uncover the truth as much as we do.” Her shoulders eased just a little. “Can you tell us what happened ?” I asked. “I was ambushed,” she said, voice tight. “On school grounds. By people in skull masks.” Of course. The skull syndicate. An evil organization that does the most unimaginable things to both humans and paranormal creatures.
