Which was an answer. Vale swore under his breath. “You’ve got to be kidding me.” Hale turned toward me fully, kneeling slightly so he could look directly into my eyes. “Arden… the place I’m taking you isn’t in any map. Not even Vale knows it exists. But it’s the only area with manual locking. No electronic access. No hacking. The freezing water colliding against my bare skin numbs me to the point where I forget my pain. We wait for the rest of our pack members at the lobby of where we first entered. We have at least five warriors and two healers within the academy's given age range and position, yet not even one of them have made their appearance. I honestly don't understand how the learning system works in this academy. The council's motives are to enhance our abilities as future leaders but I highly doubt that. They show no mercy or compassion to any wolf.
