Skylar was sitting alone in her cabin, talking to herself, darting her gaze at the laptop screen, if she could have burn Harrisons from her laptop screen she would have done it long back. “So, enjoying the show sweetheart?” Skylar was pulled back from her bumpy thoughts when Steve and behind him Kevin entered in her cabin and Steve called her with a wide grin. “Yes, too much.” Skylar stood up, packed Steve’s cheek, and all settled on the couch, again gazing at the laptop screen. “Watched?” Skylar looked at Steve, raised her eyebrows, and asked, Steve nod in yes while looking at the laptop.

Skylar's POV 1:00 am. My parents were sound asleep in their room. Chicken was sound asleep in my room, curled up on my bed. The moon was up in the night sky, glowing brightly. And I, Skylar Anderson, was dressed up in a black T-shirt and jeans, my favourite denim jacket, and some butt-kicking motorcycle boots. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I realized that I kind of resembled those actors in gangster movies. I looked like one of those sketchy dudes lurking around the creepy alleyways of New York city, having anything but good intentions.

Tyler Black must have read my face because he answered my unspoken question. "Hi Skylar yes I already adopted you I saw your picture on the orphanage website and contacted Miss Summers here. The documentation has been finalised and I am here to pick you up to take you to a new home." he states his voice is deep and calm. His face holds that smile of his. Skylar showered, ate and sat down on her bed to read a chapter of her favorite novel, but she couldn't concentrate as all she could imagine was a brown eyes man staring into her, making her feel things she would never have imagined that she could feel.
