By Shadowlight Lake

By Shadowlight Lake

My feet carried me automatically, turning at remembered junctions until I emerged at Shadowlight Lake. In the equinox moonlight, the lake was even more magical than before, its surface reflecting the stars with such perfect clarity it was hard to tell where water ended and sky began. The small gazebo at the end of the dock glowed softly with twinkling lights someone had strung along its railings.

Second Light

Second Light

"Mr. Lloyd, I'd like to work for your company." "I'll come ready with my full commitment, and two of Eric's key clients. Is that enough? I can bring more if needed." A deep voice answered. "What do you want in return?" "I have no home and not a single penny to my name." "Alright. Come to my place."

Court Of Sins And Twilight

Court Of Sins And Twilight

And below? A void. Not just darkness, not just shadow. But stars. Dozens—maybe hundreds—of them, swirling in slow, hypnotic spirals, suspended in nothing. Like someone had scooped out a piece of the night sky and let it live beneath our feet. Lira took a step onto the bridge. I stayed exactly where I was. She turned around, brows rising. “What now?” I pointed down. “It’s glass.” “It’s reinforced starlight.” “Glass,” I repeated, blinking hard. “That’s floating over a pit of screaming space.”

Two Different Lights

Two Different Lights

For five years, I had stood by my girlfriend as she worked her way from a tiny street stall to a successful chain of stores. Three times, I waited for her to finally give me a home. The first time, she bought a one-bedroom apartment. I packed my bags, ready to move in, only for her to hand the keys to her childhood friend, who had just gone through a divorce. "He's raising his daughter on his own. It isn't safe for them to live somewhere else," she told me. "Just stay with me in the basement for a few more months." The second time, she bought a two-bedroom apartment. I had already bought new sheets and gotten everything ready. Then, by some twist of fate, her childhood friend's apartmen

The Alpha's Forgotten Bloodline

The Alpha's Forgotten Bloodline

The sky didn't just go dark; it went sterile. As the Auditor’s crystalline sails unfurled across the orbital plane, they didn't merely block the sun’s light—they filtered its frequency. The "Golden Equilibrium" that had bathed the world in a protective, amber warmth was being systematically stripped away. Through his violet eye, Kael watched the Photonic Depletion in real-time. The vibrant gold of Lyra’s legacy was being replaced by a flat, matte gray.

The Luna’s Forbbidden Blood

The Luna’s Forbbidden Blood

Maya’s POV The sky behind us did not just darken; it bled. From the deck of the escaping scavenger skiff, I watched the mountain peak shrink into a crown of jagged, violet lightning. The dark titan was rising like a black needle stitching the earth to the clouds, its massive chest venting a swarm of metallic locusts that began to blot out the morning sun. Far below, Kael was a solitary, blazing beacon of violet fire, standing directly in the path of the white-haired woman and the ancient machine she had unleashed.

The Alpha’s Regret: The Hidden Luna’s Return

The Alpha’s Regret: The Hidden Luna’s Return

Silver Creek hung in the pitch-black sky like a piece of fruit left to rot in a cellar, wrapped in the violet, suffocating shroud of the "Obsidian Pulse" Beside me, Killian’s breathing was a harsh, rhythmic hiss through his emergency oxygen-seal. Even in the low gravity, he stood like a monument of iron, his hand never leaving the hilt of his obsidian blade. But I could see the way his shoulders trembled. He wasn’t looking at the Empire in flames; he was looking at our children.

Let Them Kneel

Let Them Kneel

Elara’s crying still echoed through the courtyard when Kaelani lifted her hands. Violet light flared outward from her palms in a sudden, controlled surge, rippling across the pack grounds in expanding waves. The energy arced over rooftops, threaded through the treeline, and sealed overhead in a vast, translucent dome. For a breath, the entire territory shimmered in violet light. Then it faded—no longer visible, but undeniably present. Kaelani lowered her hands. “I’ve placed a shield over Silveredge.”

This novel is so good from the start (not completed yet, 212 as of 1 May 2026). The mystery, the reveal, the high stakes rescue the fights. Has it all. And it all connects in a satisfying way. Love the FL and ML, such great chemistry. I couldn't wait for the updates. Highly recommend this read.

This was a really good book from beginning to end. And while it was a serial, it did have an ending which I appreciate unlike some other books on this app. Would love to see a book 2, perhaps about the children as adults. Overall, very engaging and I couldn’t wait for new chapters to be released.

She Runs with Wolves

She Runs with Wolves

“Upstairs, the shelf right at the very back. If the books look old and a little dusty – rather like me – you’re in the right place.” I’d smiled politely and thanked him, but I’d felt his eyes on us as we’d walked up the stairs. I looked across the table at Skye. His right side was glowing with cold sunlight, which filtered through the warped glass of the windowpanes beside him. His dark hair shone on one side, and his brown skin was crested with glittering highlights as he shifted. His left side was shadowed, and the hollow around his eye was steeped in oozing darkness.

I am loving this beautifully written book! The author takes the time to craft the characters and the ways the natural world mirrors this inner world. I love that this is a very different kind of Alpha!

The Endless Spotlight

The Endless Spotlight

Wala kasi si mang Delio kaya naisipan naming dito nalang bumili. Uminom muna siya ng tubig bago magsalita, “Hindi pa ba obvious? That was a surprise.” And he smiled crookedly. I swear, ang ganitong tanawin ay makapagbabalik ng sumpong ko ano mang oras hindi dahil sa sikip sa dami ng tao o usok, kung hindi dahil sa kilig.
