Killer Smile

Killer Smile

I don't have friends - I am not sure if that is something that I should be proud of. Well, it's not like I don't try to approach my classmates or try to interact. It’s just that I have a weird smile. No, it's not the type of smile that involves weird and rotten teeth - I have perfectly white and straight teeth. You see, my smile is fatal and dangerous. Just one look at these weapons and even the ferocious growl of a mountain lion would seem harmless. If this were a comic, I would call this attack: The Killer Smile.

DEPTH OF PAIN

DEPTH OF PAIN

He pleaded I turned to look at him, I just stared again and finally walked away. I walked into the class and Ethan entered after few minutes, Mrs chike the Economics teacher entered and the class started. *** During break, I saw chioma, despite the fact that she's a science student, our bond is unbreakable, she smiled gracefully as she approached me. "Why are you smiling hard?" I finally found my voice again and I sighed after realising that. "Is smiling a crime now?" She raised a brow and I rolled my eyes

You're the pain, You're the cure

he said in a small voice, stunning Mahira “Why would you be sorry?” she looked at him in surprise “because I could not save you from this pain,” Mahira looked at him, then snorted as she smiled sarcastically “Then you might have to spend your entire life saying sorry,” her voice was small and soft, Tazz looked up “Did you say something?” he asked, he’d heard her clear, but he wanted her to say it again, to know how much had she endured in his name “Nothing, you don’t have to say sorry, I.. I’m quite used to pain, it reminds me that I’m alive,” she smiled and stood up, heading straight to the bathroom to shower up

This was such an intriguing and refreshing read. The writing is flawless and the characters are woven intricately and seamlessly into the story. Felt like I was watching a movie instead of reading a book.the characters just came to life. Looking fwd to more such interesting chapters.

Captive Slave Of The Rogue Alpha

Captive Slave Of The Rogue Alpha

I suddenly asked trying to prolong the conversation to a point where he would smile again –of course I had picked the wrong question to ask for this was surely going to remind him of his pain. “Oh, it was just a stupid training,” he said and to my surprise, his smile didn’t fade away as I had thought. “And a silly excuse too if you ask me,” he added. This made me curious. How could someone have a near-death experience and smile about it like the memories behind the pain was a good one? “What happened?” I blurted out as my entire being wanted to know what was going on. He looked into my eyes and I could see the laughter dancing deep within his eyes. I cocked my head to the side and raised my

He turned around and remarked, "You seem to have a lot on your mind. Want to talk about it?” I turned to look at him and noticed that the grin had vanished from his face. His expression now held genuine concern, which oddly eased me a bit. "Are you always this cheerful?" I inquired, but he simply grinned and laughed it off. "I wish I could be carefree like you, just laughing..." I trailed off, taking a deep breath as I gazed at the can of drink in my hand. "Smiling, without worrying about the things happening around me," And just then I felt a sudden hush fall between us before he sighed, saying, "Sometimes, smiles are worn to hide the pain inside.”

"If pain is 'enjoying this chicken the way I am right now' , then cheers to pain." "You're masking your pain with that fake smile and forced laugh, walking around every corner of this company acting like you're happy but we both know you're not! You're suffering. You're trying to run away from the grief of losing your mom by immersing yourself in work, overworking yourself, overeating, smiling sheepishly and laughing every chance you get. " I glare at her. "You want me to stop eating this chicken?" "Ofcourse not. But you -"

45 Days with Logan

𝙇𝙊𝙂𝘼𝙉 If I could laugh… or just maybe, if I knew how to smile, even a little… I would have done it. The look on Papillon's face was… amusing. Ridiculously amusing. The kind that should have pulled a laugh out of me. But it didn't. I really don't know how to smile. There has never been anything in my life worth smiling about. From the very moment I was born, everything has been soaked in pain and suffering. Nothing light. Nothing warm. Nothing soft.

She's My Innocent Billionaire

“Just know this, I got a hint that he isn’t that good now either. Maybe he has a plan or something” I nodded. “Okay…” “Don’t be sad,” he smiled. Just look at him. He is in so much pain but still smiling. Why? Because he knows I will smile only when he does. I smiled back at him. I know things are getting rough again. I just wanted to live a good life now but God doesn’t want it! I mean, it is enough of an adventure in our lives already! I just looked at him and then smiled more. “Okay, love, you should sleep now”

Claiming My Alpha

Claiming My Alpha

We all have pieces of baggage that we carry and most of the time these pieces of baggage are something we don’t want others to see. The first time that I met Nori, he was always the easiest person to talk to, and easy to give a smile to. Maybe because of the smile that he gives you, and how handsome he looks when he smiles. And because he rarely didn’t smile whenever I am with him that I never knew that behind those smiles lies a heart that’s in so much pain.

As the story evolves, you can tell how much dedication the author has spent developing each one the main characters as they grow stronger together throughout the book (instead of just focusing Drake and Athena). You can feel the emotions no matter how dumb, silly or painful it is. Excellent Job!!

Was a really good read. Just a little disappointed in how it ended. The whole books geared you up for this type of war to happen but at the end it just leaves you hanging. Maybe the sequel will answer all of the questions that were brought up in the first one..
