Soon, the shadows emerged clearly. Wolves appeared, their skin mostly made of bright red fur with darker red lines running along the edges. Their eyes glowed Golden yellow, with a red tint in the middle. As they approached them, the air began to smell like smoke. The Inferno Pack. In front of the twenty wolves was a man in a long, red robe. He looked like he was almost forty, and had a long moustache. His hair was red and was styled to look like flaming fire. Elijah stepped forward with a few warriors, and both Packs met in the middle. There was a crispy earthy tension in the air as both auras collided, and wolves from both sides softly growled at each other.

Aurora’s wolf snarled, her instincts screaming danger as the creature’s gaze locked onto her. “Form up!” Mikhail commanded, his wolf crouching low, ready to strike. The team fanned out, their formation tight and disciplined. Liam and Rylan, their wolves bristling with excitement, took flanking positions, while Marcus and Lucas held the center. Maya and Kira stayed close to Aurora, their eyes fixed on the creature. “What is that thing?” Maya mindlinked, her voice laced with alarm. “It’s tied to the energy we felt,” Kira replied, her white fur standing on end. “That smoke—it’s alive.”
