It blew widely, the smoke filled the place like fog.
It was dark, I couldn't see how distant the fog went but I felt it filled the place.
We were seated close to the lake, and the dimmed light made it easier to notice anything near, I could see Hayden clearly as a result of my adaptation to the fire.
I watched as Hayden made sure the fire blew properly, roasting the meat.
"It's almost done," I said, excitedly trying to touch it but he faced me. I paused raising my brow at him when turned to face me sharply.
