This time I flew to Russia to check on how the clan of gray and white wolves is doing. Once upon a time, the latter were quite numerous and more developed than the former, but during a fire twenty years ago, almost half of the population died in a flock of whites, including the alpha and his family. It came as a big shock to everyone. No one really could tell anything about what happened, and how it happened. The official version spoke of an accident with fireworks during the holiday, which caused several houses to catch fire at once. The fire was not extinguished in time. The panic began.

But alas, Mom needs my help today and I promised I’d pick her up some hot coffee on my way over to help warm her up since we’re in the middle of Autumn and in Denali, it’ll only get colder from here. Luckily, Denali wolves are built for this kind of persistent wintry climate being that we’ve been living on these snowy-capped Mountains for centuries now that we've grown almost resistant to the cold. It also helps that we're especially known for having white, fluffy fur coats in our wolf form that protect us from the worst of the winds, compared to our other shifter neighbors. I follow reluctantly behind Becca as we enter the Beanery, my mood dwindling with each step we get closer to the worst

It made me think about how many could be walking around right now and I couldn’t accurately tell. “It would be nice to be able to know what types of creatures are in the area,” I think out loud. Alec looks glazed over for a minute then looks back at me with a smirk. “There are 4 wolves nearby, 1 light witch who’s not very powerful, and 2 bears.” It takes a minute for me to regain my composure before I can respond. “You motherfucker! Are you kidding me right now? Can you really tell that information? What, do you smell them or something?”

She knew Sienna was shady anyway, I focused my rage on the meat to spare her pretty face. Werewolves? What the fuck! The only thing I heard about was Lycans and that Supreme Alpha. She took a pause, "Paint me surprised when I took a close look at the scratch marks and your insatiable hunger—" Before she could spout another word, I interrupted her, "What are you?" "A witch." Somehow I don't doubt that.

the beta says, looking at the two boys who are looking at me like I grew another head. "Remember when we said there's two grey wolves and one white one?" alpha Aiden asks. "Yes, alpha," River answer him, he's much bigger, he's almost the size of an adult wolf while I stayed my small self. "White wolves are special wolves, only six of them exist, do you know why they are super important to the pack?" alpha Rowan explains. "They are omegas? Well, what's left of them," River says, and the beta nods proudly, he must have explained that to them during the classes.

She stood still, trying to resist the force but it overwhelmed her and forced her to the ground. "Arrrhh!" She roared as she changed into a Witch-Wolf, as huge as a bear. She jumped around with force, sniffing around her. Some men were sitting at a corner, drinking from some bottles on the floor. They were speaking gibberish as they nodded their head from left to right in rhythm to music playing from a Small stereo. "What is that thing by the corner of the road?" One of them asked with squinting eyes, pointing at a creature by the road.

"That's the handgun. Over there is the rifle. It's like a cross between a sniper and an assault rifle, but it's called a long-range pulse rifle. Next, you have the smoke bomb. It's used to block scent trails. For example, if someone is being monitored by a rival wolf or even a stranger, smoke bombs will block the scent trails and keep the enemy confused." I let out a deep breath as we moved towards the next section. "We have flash bombs over there. We've got sonic fireworks, mainly used to signal the pack of rogue intrusion into the territory. Those working in the territory have this, and once we see it, we respond with the same fireworks, indicating that we've heard and are coming," he expl

Emily whispered, her heart racing as she watched. On the field, three wolves fought fiercely. Elvie and Amelia were both dark brown wolves, sleek and powerful, while Natalie transformed into a lighter brown wolf. Blood stained the ground, shocking everyone who had gathered to watch. Marriott gasped, her eyes wide. "Why are they in blood? This was supposed to be a friendly match!" "They're fighting over Tom," Emily muttered, her gaze fixed on the scene below. "Natalie told them he's single now. She's trying to eliminate anyone who could be a threat to her."

A yellowish-brown wolf stood where he'd been seconds ago, the color of autumn leaves and mountain soil. He didn't waste a second . Kyle's wolf tore through the underbrush, fast enough to blur, darting toward the smoke in a streak of gold. Evan leaned back. "Think it's just a regular forest fire?" "No," I said immediately. "That smoke isn't spreading. It's rising straight up. That's the pack grounds." Evan stared. "Wait... so the pack is on fire?" "I don't know." I shrugged. Hopefully the fire spares some of them so I can get to them first.

Ash coughed as the smoke entered his nostrils. Fuck! “Get out of here. We will go after Tyler.” I told him, and he ran away from the smoke as fast as possible. I just hoped that Stephan was safe. I couldn’t see or smell Tyler anymore. The smoke was veiling everything. So this was his tactic. I smirked. He was stupid if he thought that this could stop my trained warriors. I turned to my left and heard loud snarls and growls of wolves who were charging towards Tyler’s army without letting the smoke stop them.
