My senses were helping in her absence so I was able to know when danger was looming. I'd even killed a snake that wrapped itself around my ankle before it could bite. It was a silver snake with a head that had black markings similar to freckles in humans and I was damn sure that there was nothing like silver snakes. It never existed. Well, I'd seen all sorts of strange creatures today so it wasn't so new.

The indigo is a moon send tonight as the humans will be in no real danger from the reptile. I strike quickly grabbing the snake behind the back of the head before it has any time to react. I immobilize it’s thrashing body by trapping it beneath my arm and pinning it down my side with the hand that doesn’t hold it’s head. I’m not keen on having a snake against my bare skin, down my shirt sleeve, but anyone who sees me walking by will think I’m scratching my armpit. And regrettably, the reptile goes in defense mode and secretes it nasty slime against my skin. I now smell like rotten cabbage, but it’s a small price to pay in the grand scheme of things.

“The f**k was that?” “He is attempting to cut his own way out?” Dilo postulated, scowling at the snake’s skin jerking outward in constant pulses. “A heroic exit through the neck of a twenty-foot snake after being swallowed? Of course he would,” Kealy sighed, smiling while shaking her head slightly. “He does this often?” Dilo asked, raising an eyebrow at Kealy.

Her heart was very heavy. All of a sudden, she heard a hiss beside her and when she turned, she saw a very big snake crawling towards her, it was the snake that was hissing. She jerked up in fear, the snake has a very big head and it would comfortably swallow a human being. She turned and ran at once, she was so scared that she ran recklessly, she wasn't watching how the floor of the mountain were, all of a sudden, her leg slipped. Falling would mean that the snake would catch up on her but she couldn't help the situation either, but surprisingly, a hand stopped her from falling. She looked up to see who was carrying her and saw Derrick.

He thought he gonna die there but it did not come. Instead, he found himself in front of a creature whom he never thought exited. A human snake. A creature with a stature of a man. Eyes like a snake and skin so scaly. “A man in my den.” The human beast spoke in thunderous voice. Teuton cannot find his own voice as he stared at him in trembling body. “Ye know of surety that ye will die if I wish it.” the human beast spoke again. “Yet again, I will let ye leave this time for a condition.”

I double-blink again, just to be certain. Zion comes to a standstill. “Humans can not see in the dark. I know that much about your species.” “Last time I checked, too. We couldn't. I… couldn't." “Tell me, what else can you see?” There is an underlay of skepticism in his voice. Looking around the cave, I cast my glance upwards, “above us!” My voice trembles. “Snakes! With... two fucking heads and eyes that glow red.”

the creature hissed. “Run” Harold screams at us. We try to run but the snake circles us in with his never ending tail. We are trapped. “Please take me, don’t hurt them, they have nothing to do with this” Harold begged. “Don’t worry, I’ll eat you first so you won’t have to watch your friends die” the snake grabs hold of Harold in a death lock with the end of its tail and squeezes. Rod disappears and stabs the snake in the tail. The snake lets out a screech and tosses Harold into a tree with a Big Crunch.

Blake asked, surprising the hell out of her again. “Yes. But why?” He shrugged. “Just that of all the animals, humans have very dirty mouths. You’re bound to get bit around here at some time or other.” She gulped down the rising saliva in her throat. It was still foul tasting. “Is there anything else I should be aware of?” That came out far more sarcastically than she meant it to. “Snakes,” Levi said with all seriousness. “They’re around lots and some are bad. Some can kill you dead with one bite and it’ll be too fast to get the antivenom or the wiseman.”

Only then would Rosie panic, rush him to the hospital—while chewing out Phoebe at the same time. Too bad for Peter, that just made Phoebe hate him more. And the worse she treated him, the more he seethed. In his past life, he'd never known humiliation like this. Now? The snake hisses, tongue flicking, body coiled. Without thinking, Soral flings it off his body and it lands hard against the debris. Then, he screams again, he has just touched a snake bare-handed! Soral stares at his hands in dumbfounded horror, like they are now cursed and decides that he will just cut them off; he doesn't need hands anymore! If there is any animal he cannot stand, it is certainly snakes. Then—crack. When Soral looks again, he sees the snake's head, completely crushed by Vidarr's booted feet, the rest part of its body struggling weakly.
