The Troll Queen's Bride
I watched in awe, observing the beautiful creature's bird of paradise wings.

“Of course, see?” he said, prying open the snake's mouth. “Fangless.”
I whistled, summoning one of my own. It draped itself over my shoulders and sipped from the glass daintily. Hesitant, I ran my fingers over its cool diamond scales. It began to sing under my touch. Samael collected the glasses so I could play with it, letting it coil over my hands. Our two snakes met, flicked their tongues over each others' faces, let out heavenly tones from their throats, then twined together, setting off into a caduceus-like flight. I smiled genuinely for the first time in Hell, amazed.
