I look closely at the cover and realize it isn't leather, but some soft dark skin, more on a fur than the normal boom cover. My guess would be some.random animal with fur but I think sime fur isn’t smooth as this. I turn to the first page and mutter a curse under my breath. I read the tiny scrawl with widening eyes.
