The Lunar Legacy

The Lunar Legacy

He spun, his axe striking a shade, the shadow dissolving, the blue glow casting jagged shadows around him, the plateau a crucible for their unity, the chill a distant threat, their bond a radiant light in the cold. Lila sketched another rune on the ice, her hazel eyes sharp with focus, her voice steady, the blue glow illuminating her face, the marrow shades closing in, the plateau a battlefield, the chill a constant threat. “Sam, the shades are weakening!” she called, her charcoal stick glinting in the blue glow, the rune flaring with silver light, the frost melting around it, the blue glow dimming further, the plateau a battlefield, their bond a warmth in the cold. “Keep hitting the shards—

Wrath of the Rejected

Wrath of the Rejected

The shadows twist around my hands, pulling at the ground beneath me, creating a shield of darkness in front of me. I don’t know how I’m doing it. I don’t know how I’m controlling the shadows at all. But it feels right. The rogue lunges, and I thrust my hands forward. The shadows lash out, slamming into the wolf with the force of a hundred storms. It crashes to the ground, howling in pain. But I won't stop. I can’t stop. The shadows surge forward, wrapping around the rogue, pulling it down. It struggles, wrestling, but I hold it there, the power inside me feeding off its fear, its anger. The shadows are alive now, pulsing, hungry.

Possessing her Shadows

Possessing her Shadows

Men sat in booths with their cigars and their secrets, watching us like they owned the place. And in the back, I saw her. Not like the others. She wasn’t drinking, wasn’t leaning back with her arm stretched across the booth. She was stiff, controlled, almost… out of place. A silk scarf wrapped around her head, sunglasses hiding half her face. Sunglasses in the dark. Weird. I didn’t have time to think about it. The spotlight found me, the beat dropped, and I started my routine. Arch, spin, slide. Smile. Pretend—but suddenly my hand slipped. My foot missed the grip, and I wobbled hard. For a second, I thought I might catch myself but gravity had other plans.

Luna's Shadow

Luna's Shadow

"I want them on high alert, scouting the borders. If there’s one rogue, there may be more." A raven haired woman with a steady gaze stepped forward. "Kenziel..." She called out, her voice calm but firm. "You must be careful because if this is an attack, the rogue may be a distraction." Kenziel nodded, his gaze hardening, giving her words a second thought. "You speak the truth, Sylvia." He acknowledged, turning to face her. "I will not underestimate our enemies. For this, we must be vigilant." Sylvia inclined her head in a slight bow. "Your wisdom will serve us well, Alpha." She uttered, raising her head up. "But we must also consider that the Silver Moon Pack may not be the only threat we fa

Love Amongst The Shadows

Love Amongst The Shadows

I focused on the shadows around me instead of the alphas circling me. I whipped shadows up all around me. It looked like a circle of shadowy tentacles surrounded me. Three alphas lunged at me at the same time from different directions. I used the shadows to grip each one of them by the neck, tightly, lifting them in the air. All three alphas were clawing at the shadow, trying to break free. They were of course unsuccessful in their attempt. It was like pulling at smoke for them.

I absolutely love a snarky, fierce, independent, fire cracker of a lead lady. Zea doesn’t let the horrible things life has dumped on her keep her from being a big hearted loving person. That love tends to be fierce, sarcastic and confrontational LOL and she refuses to let others decide her fate!

I LOVE every single book from this author! Every chapter has me in my feelings. Not just the lust, love&rage of the main characters but also the empathy or jealousy from other characters. At times I even have to take a breath&remind myself that what I’m reading is not personally happening to me IRL!

Shadows Of Pleasure

Shadows Of Pleasure

I couldn't even smell her scent so I couldn't follow her. That night I couldn't get her off my mind, sleep was not an option. I need to find out who she is and why I am having a hard time detecting what she is. My wolf said she is a werewolf but I can't smell her wolf on her at all. Shadow thinks that she has no clue what she is. He also thinks that she was never part of a pack as we can't detect any pack scent on her either. Witch I guess would have made scents on why she has no wolf yet if she has never been around our kind she would develop at a much slower pace than the rest of us.

Protect and Serve

Protect and Serve

That was when something wholly unexpected happened. She was reaching for the were's chains again when she saw the darkness around her hands begin to grow . . . deeper. Yes, "deeper" was the only thing that made sense. Shamira could see in any darkness, except that blackness which now encircled her hands resisted even her vision. Total darkness, cold and hard. It crept along her hands, then began to extend from her fingers like . . . claws. Shane's words echoed in her mind. First was the Shadow Healing, then the Shadow Jumping and Shadow Sight. The fourth Shadow Aspect was called the Shadow Claws. Four Aspects, mean the fifth --

CRIMSON SKY

CRIMSON SKY

The other two shadows seemed to have learnt from the mistake of the first and stopped meters away, hitting the shield at different angles from a distance and their magic slowly eating through mine like fire burning a paper even as I strengthened it again and again. “Toke, how did you—” somebody beside me began. “Listen to me. If you don’t want to die then follow whatever I tell you right now to the letter,” I cut in, my voice steely. “Nighthawks attack the shadow on the left, witchlords take the one in the center and leave the one on the right to me. No need for any fancy acts, just hit them hard with everything you’ve got and make sure you attacks are timed at the same time” I said.
