"When did you get so strong?" Sebastian asked me while we were driving from the police station. I just stared at my bloodied shirt silently. Never have I ever slipped like that before, heck I've never even fought a person. Well, apart from the verbal one I have never engaged someone physically. " You just kept punching the poor guy even after he begged for your forgiveness" " He did?" I asked suprised I swear I never heard a thing apart from Claire's scream. All I saw was a red punching bag which kept struggling underneath me. His struggles were like a fuel to that strange anger I had. What was up with me exactly?

The next set of events went as expected. *Boom!* A wall was destroyed as Ren chased the Frost Bird down. He just punched it through the wall and was trying to clip the wings that sprouted out. The few cultivators in the area just watched not wanting to get involved. With a wave of the fan, Fierce winds were generated and pushed the Frost Bird into another wall. Its human form falling apart more and more as it needed the full power of its Monster Form. The moment its feet return, powerful talons gripped the floor sending sparks and debris all over.

She giggled as she stroked his fur, and I sighed with relief, while I silently watched Finn being loving towards his Fianna. Maybe he was like Freya, and he could control his wolf? Maybe he wasn't a savage beast after all? My questioning thoughts were cut short, by the sudden and blood-curdling screams of Stevie. Finn had sunken his canines into her skin, just between her shoulder and her neck. She wailed out in agony as she tried to fend him off, with very little success. Evan and I rushed to her side, I slid my arm around Finn's solid neck, and began to pull him backwards.

She said with determination. "Well, if you're so sure." Erica said after stuffing her face again. Jayce continued on to his office, pulling her book from the bag. He ran his fingers over the cover, a woman warrior facing off against a golden dragon. The woman almost reminded him of Lily. "Alright, let's see what you're all about, then." He said as he opened the book.

She was strong-headed, powerful, kind-hearted and fearless. I traced the spine of the book and sighed. I am anything but fearless, I thought. Sometimes, I would have crippling anxiety that would prevent me from breathing altogether or nightmares of blood and torture that would wake me in the middle of the night. No, I was not a fearless person. “You’re still in here?” Xander whispered. His voice made me jump, and I quickly removed my fingers from the book. Xander dashed inside the study and promptly closed the door behind him. He walked over to my desk and placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder before he leaned down and softly touched his lips to my cheek.

And then, before he could even realize what happened, I was already standing in front of the tree. I stood there coolly as if I had been waiting for him for ages and the 7black wolf halted abruptly, looking at me with his eyes wide and ears cocked to the sides. He looked absolutely comical, and I stifled the urge to laugh out loud. And to add insult to his injury, he was panting like a dog, pun intended, while I wasn’t even out of breath yet, thanks to my Feral powers.

He was rough, merciless, driven by anger. “You wanted it, didn’t you?” he accused harshly, driving deeper into me with even more brutality, stretching me to the full. I could barely breathe. I gasped through tears, forcing myself to endure it, my eyes shut tightly against the torment, as my body bounced forcefully with the intensity of his drive. He was feral, lost in rage, moving with no compassion, only fierceness. I whimpered, but he growled, “You don’t scream.” His warning was cold and heartless. “Any more screams from you…”

Thalia threatened. My heart pounded so hard I thought it might burst. I looked at the two girls. Their daggers were ready and their eyes hard. Fear clawed at me. However, the rage of past betrayal was more prominent. Thalia was my enemy, a threat to everything I was working for. Bowing would mean surrender. She'd crush me on the spot. But resisting could cost me everything. My face, my plan, maybe my life. My fists clenched, and nails bit into my palms. Should I swallow my pride and live to fight another day? Or stand tall, risk it all, and let her know I wasn’t here to play small?

A soft breeze appeared from nowhere and changed the course of the sand while Quinn shifted mid lunge and went straight for my throat. My feet planted, I grabbed her my the neck, my hands getting hotter and I squeezed. She howled and wriggled around in my grasp. I was holding a squirming wolf who was struggling in my hands and howling like a cat. Her front paws were off the ground and swiped at me, trying to get me to release her, her back paws stayed down, barely brushing the ground. I stayed well out of reach of her front paws and squeezed her wolf neck tighter. I smelled burning hair but my hands stayed where they were. This shewolf had tried to take what was mine. I should break her neck.
