" Mirabel said in a rush before the phone hung up. A sad smile formed on Laura's lips. The cold was beginning to brush her skin and that was an added problem to her current predicament. She walked over to a spot under a nearby tree and sat down, leaning her back against it. Different scary thoughts came into her mind, like spiders, snakes, scorpions or worse ghosts, monsters! She had heard, read and watched about them but she didn't know if they were real. The thought made her shudder. She scolded herself for watching horror movies and promised herself not to try them again, ever! When the cold was beginning to get a bit chilly, another call came into her phone and she glanced at the screen,

We were all just standing there, thirty strangers in some dramatic-looking grand hall. Then came the crying. "Waaah... this place is so scary. I wanna go home." Scary? Could've fooled me. Thanks to my perception disorder, my brain airbrushes reality. The grosser something is, the prettier it looks. So to me? This place felt like a cozy Airbnb. Meanwhile, some cranky knight-looking dude threw punches at the shadows. "Quit hiding and fight me, coward!" While most people were busy freaking out, two stepped forward—chill and confident.

I was hysterical when Hamdan even brought the object closer to me. "Aaaaaa!" I screamed loudly as her hair touched my thigh. "Don't Hamdan, let go. Let him go!" I screamed louder when Hamdan put it on my thigh. I looked into his eyes glaring at me. I suddenly felt dizzy. Honestly, I can not meet this one creature. It would be better if I met the top class mafias than having to see this thing. I'm still traumatized when I watch Chucky's latest horror film series which was released last month. If you don't know, just try looking for a horror doll movie with that title. Enough, I can't do anything. “Ahahahahahaha, I'm so scared Evan. You bastard.”

I try not to look at her when I ask. “Oh yeah, I have them a lot. Especially right after I watch a scary movie, even though mom says I should have out grown that by now. My brother Dillon is always forcing me to watch them when mom's at work. I can’t wait till he moves out this winter.” “That sucks. Why is he so mean to you?”

' She said and ran her hand in my hair to make me comfortable. 'Sa..ra..h' I said with my voice cracking in between. 'Yeah, tell me I'm listening.' She said. 'I'm scared, Sarah. I'm very scared.' I said sobbing. 'From what? And why?' She asked being all worried. 'At night I'm scared that someone is watching me. That..that someone is in my bedroom. In the daytime, I feel someone is inside the house. When I walk on the road I feel someone is stalking me. I'm scared to death and I'm now scared of being scared. Sarah, I don't want to live like this. I just want to die. I'm all fed up from my own life.' I said it all in breath with my voice breaking between each and every sentence.

He whispered coldly in my ears. My eyes widened up as he said. My brow arched, I couldn't believed my ear. Oh my God! What is he trying to do with me? The fear of losing myself to a monster like him rushed a spine into my whole body system. Too young for this phase I was passing through. No! He wouldn't get down on me so easily.

Cassandra's POV "I'm sure the tickets will sell out fast. We're all eager to see the movie," I chuckled, acknowledging the excitement in the air. Despite my amusement, I couldn't help but feel frustrated with my friend's insensitivity. He refused to admit that the horror movie we were about to watch terrified him to the core. He had only watched it once, and since then, he had been plagued by the feeling of ghosts lurking in every corner. Even going near his bed filled him with dread, as he was convinced something was waiting to grab him from underneath. He knew it was irrational, but he couldn't shake off the fear, even after all these years.

"Of course not. We can handle this, we are not scaredy cats like you, it's nothing just a normal movie, so we are fine." Susan nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we've seen scarier things, so there is no way that this simple movie would scare us, if you're scared, then admit it." Just as they exchanged confident glances, a sudden, spine-chilling jump scare jolted them all. Luna and Susan let out simultaneous shrieks, clutching onto each other with wide eyes. Zayn couldn't help but chuckle at their reaction. "Really, no fear at all, huh?"

When her mother was lulling her to sleep that night, she read the expression on her face and interpreted it right-Fear "What are you scared of?" She asked softly "What I'll see on the night before my birthday" she answered with a small voice. "Don't worry, it won't be bad this time, I'll pray for you" and then her mother prayed until she fell asleep.
