The boy’s voice didn't echo; it absorbed the sound of the world around it. Standing in the crumbling tunnel, the "Shadow Heir" looked less like a monster and more like a terrifyingly perfect sculpture of a child. The glowing sphere in his hand pulsed in time with my own fading heartbeat, a physical manifestation of the "Final Liquidation."

Shadow yelled, as he looked around at the his brothers fought the Lycans. At least a dozen Lycan managed to get through the protection wall his warrior brothers had created. "Bruin keep moving to the SUV don’t stop for anything.” Shadow said, as he broke the line to attack the first Lycan. He didn’t want them to even get close to Charms. Shadow was a big muscular man himself he was taller and bigger then almost all of his warriors, so he knew he would have to use his body to his advantage. He ran full speed at the first Lycan with Blaze hot on his tail. He glance back to see Bruin making a run for the SUV, Shadow ran towards the Lycan and at the last second he went left then faked right and

Ice asks. “A witch I met in New Orleans,” Bo replies with a smile. Seems like more than a friend to me. “She’ll meet you at the airport when you land in Portland. From there, it’s about a six and a half hour drive to Crescent Shadow territory.” I nod my head. Ice sees my face and turns to them. “Can we go now?” She asks. “Of course,” Gray nods his head. “Get some sleep. Tomorrow will be a long day, you’ll need your rest.”

Golden arrows slowly emerged, timidly trying to chase away the shadows of the night. The great fire disc made its appearance. First, it emerged as a red line growing wider and wider until it rose victorious into the angelic blue sky, ready to stretch its arms over the whole earth. It tamed its color slightly, becoming comforting as it shyly soaked up the night frost with which you would think it was soothing its own color.

she asked, and Alex gave a soft laugh. She sensed humour from him, and annoyance from Lukas, but both were almost drowned out by their wariness, and no small amount of fear. Lukas sighed softly, "Shadows can merge with other shadows, becoming part of them," he said, his voice still near a whisper, "And can move through them, from one to another, with little resistance."

It was quiet for a few minutes and he finally said, “Tilly and I have absolutely no secrets. People like you and me … we can’t be with just anyone. It’s either one night stands, fake short term relationships or nothing. You don’t just find a Tilly on every corner. A woman that will accept you, that if you are totally honest with her … won’t be afraid of you. I never had someone to … to help me. To direct me, and it damn near killed me. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I call it my dark shadow … it’s a part of me, but it’s a part of me I can mostly keep hidden, that I can control.

Then I headed to the burnt-out forest hilltop. The cold wind cut right through me. The creepy end-of-the-world vibe was getting stronger. I called up some friends to work some magic. Tonight, I’m going to call down lightning to turn all the wood into lightning wood. Infused with the power of thunder and the breath of silver, this wood will be stronger than it ever was before. Right then, I heard James, snickering from behind a tree. "My dear sister, had I known you liked it rough, I would've helped you look. These friends of yours are a bunch of weirdos.
