TOO LATE TO RETURN

TOO LATE TO RETURN

"Too scary daddy!! Tim declared and hid himself under the quilt. Lee followed suit. They covered themselves and didn't even let their head out. Junxie Li stood up and went away. The story was indeed scary and that was all he could think of and quickly made up to tell them. Aren't they the ones who wanted a bedtime story before they could sleep. He sat on the sofa in the sitting room. And less than twenty minutes later, Ms Diddy walked out of the room. "Are they asleep?" Junxie Li asked and Ms Diddy nodded. "Since I don't know which fairy story their mother told them halfway, I sang them a poem and they drifted off to sleep.

Gone Too Long, The CEO Becomes A World-Class Doting Husband

Gone Too Long, The CEO Becomes A World-Class Doting Husband

"Can we put Aiden to bed?" Evan requested from Lily and Lucas. "Does he still listen to bedtime stories?" Shantelle asked. "Does he want a glass of milk and a cookie before going to bed?" "Oh, I love bedtime stories!" Aiden responded with enthusiasm. Lily nearly coughed out blood at his son's answer because Aiden graduated relatively early from bedtime stories. At six, he was already learning basic coding for kids. Bedtime stories bore him, but he wanted to hear one from Lucas' mother.

Another heart felt story. I love how Lucas loves Lilly even to the point of risking his own life for her safety. NGL Lilly almost broke my heart the way she was so cold to Lucas on that park ride. Lucas just wanted to be loved by the one that he loved without any guilt from her. Loved the book!
Good Novel
Voted & sent gems again. Thanks for your style in writing - realistic, not dragging the story, great plot & events, not over the top on drama & suspense… Much appreciated on your talent & time to write these books & stories. Thank you

Side Chick Era… Over

Side Chick Era… Over

She stopped and looked back. "Be careful," he said. She smiled. "I will." … That night, Sharon shared her treatment idea with him. "Since music helps calm your emotions," she said, "maybe other things can, too. Let's start with bedtime stories." "Bedtime stories?" Thomas's eyes flickered with mild surprise. "When Theo was little," Sharon explained, "he couldn't fall asleep on his own. I used to tell him stories every night. It helped him relax. It's the same principle as using music to help you sleep. We can try it."

We’re almost 2200 chapters into the story and the only thing we’ve read is Sharon’s suffering. I understand that novels need drama to engage people, but there comes a point where it’s just too much. When will that poor woman be happy?

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

His fingers tapped on the tabletop without any rhythm as he said flatly, “Babies sleep with their parents. I don’t mind giving you a chance to sleep with me.” Harold was speechless. No one would want to sleep with a devil, like Daddy. He would be so frightened that he would not be able to fall asleep. George was speechless. He would rather sleep alone. “How about I sleep with all of you tonight?” Mrs. Winters smiled and said. “I have learned a few bedtime stories. I will tell you stories tonight.” “Yeah! Awesome!” Melody was the most supportive one as she clapped cheerfully. Harold, who was afraid that his daddy would force him to sleep with him, clapped as well. He said, “I can’t wait to he

Ahh! I want more! This one was a real delight. The overall flow of the story was very interesting. I so love Addy and Duke, the power couple. At times, I'll hold my breath for what to come next. It's so eventful, to say the least. Pity all good things must come to an end.

The Alpha's Rejected Luna: Mommy, Please Take Daddy Back

The Alpha's Rejected Luna: Mommy, Please Take Daddy Back

"But she gives the best goodnight kisses. And she always sings the silly dinosaur song before bed." The ache returns, sharp and sudden. He's used to her. She's been his whole world, and I'm the outsider trying to fit into the picture. "Well," I say, scooping him up despite his protests, "how about Daddy tells you a bedtime story instead? No dinosaurs, though. I'm more of a... superhero guy." Harry giggles, wrapping his arms around my neck. "Superheroes are cool too. Can the hero look like you?" I swallow the lump in my throat. "Of course. He'll look just like us, Harry."

LUNA: The Invisible Princess (Book 1)

LUNA: The Invisible Princess (Book 1)

Just like the Sun. I remember the story from my childhood. My favorite story my mother used to read to us at bedtime. I couldn’t help but reminisce. *** “Mama, can you read us a bedtime story?” Leena said while we were preparing to sleep. Mama couldn’t see me and I just kept listening. “What do you want to hear?” Mama smiled. “Leena, I like that story of The Sun and The Moon,” I said and Leena smiled with excitement. “Mama, we like The Sun and The Moon!” Mama nodded and smiled softly.

Scars is Also Beautiful

Scars is Also Beautiful

Once setting the firewood in place, making the dark room glowed through the orange flame and prepared enough heat to keep the small cabin warm all through the night, she sat by his only son, making herself and her rounded belly comfortable in the soft bed. "My son, it is time to go to sleep. Now, what stories do you wish me to tell you? I have many already prepared for you. Is it about a king? Or how vampires or the werewolves come to exist? Or a princess who falls into a deep slip after being prick by a cursed needle? Which one would you like to hear, my love?" The young boy looked like he was thinking rather hard and his eyebrow scrunched, figuring what stories would be good. After a few m

The Lies Behind Her Marriage

The Lies Behind Her Marriage

Nathaniel said. “Another one! Another one!” Sebastian requested. Alisa nodded with a smile. “You want another story, Ali?” Nathaniel asked his daughter. Alisa nodded. “I can’t hear you, baby.” Alisa swayed her body at first, then spoke. “Another one!” Nathaniel chuckled, pinching Alisa’s cheek lightly. “Good girl.” They hadn’t seen Serena yet, so they eagerly listened to another story. The last book Nathaniel read was 'Goodnight Moon.' It was the perfect story to get them ready for bed. As he read, he changed his tone and pointed to the items mentioned in the book. By the time he was done, the kids were satisfied.
