"You're mates. The gods decided you complete each other." "I'm sorry." That was all Cade said, just those two words like they could fix anything. "You won't be able to join the games." Dad's words dropped like stones into water and a murmur rippled through the pack because everyone knew what that meant. The games determined influence and voting power at the yearly pack summit and breaking a mate bond counted as a mental wound that needed three months to heal before the council would clear you for competition. The games were in a month.

Smith and Sophia shouted chorusly when he pointed the gun at Justin who was unconscious. Alex closed his eyes and waited for his turn. The end has finally come, he knew it would come one day, only he didn't know it would come this early to him.

I wanted to make my brother rape his sisters! Even his own mother! I wanted revenge! [Congratulations to player Liliana! Second place!] _______ KircheLeaf Arc 1: Enchantrix Race! _______ ~END of CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE~

The single word caused a flood gate to explode from within me, and I found myself being sucked into a vortex as the darkness emerged ready to kill. [Mason’s POV] I watched with wide eyes as a snarl of rage escaped Danica and her eyes began to glow red. Shit, it looked like her rogue side had awakened and she was probably going to do something rash. Rushing forward, I reached out in an attempt to stop her, but missed as she easily moved out of the way and moved towards where her brother stood. "Hahahaha!" He cackled as Danica slammed into him. "Looks like you haven’t managed to master your rogue. This is getting better and better. "

I manage to follow along at the beginning only to crash and burn near the end, but the proud look on Ethan’s face is worth it. “Again!” he announces and I don’t have it in me to protest anymore. Seeing him having fun like this is worth looking like a fool for. When the second song finishes, I reach forward to swipe the card again. This time picking a harder level for Ethan. “You got this!” I announce before jumping off the platform. Ethan protests but when the song starts, he’s already laughing and moving with ease.

I walked towards where I heard the sound come from as it echoed off the walls. I could hear it louder this time. "Help me." I rush towards the sound as I hear several cries at a go. The voice sounded all too familiar. I turned a corner and almost got shot by two rebels. I duck just in time and fire my gun repeatedly till they both drop dead. I continue forward and push open the door where the voice came from at the end of the bunker. The explosions had messed with the power supply, so all doors in the building could be opened manually. The room seemed smaller and darker than the hallway.

"Now go!" With a final surge of determination, I pushed forward, climbing the steep path that led to the Southern Seal as Garrick engaged the approaching Shadow Wolves. The sounds of combat erupted behind me—snarls and howls mingling with the distinctive hum of Shadowbane as it cut through the air.

“God. Now I’m crying on the rug.” “I knew it,” he smirked. “I should’ve filmed this.” I laughed through my tears and hit his arm lightly. Curious, I wandered into the bathroom and froze. The shower was a full glass cubicle with slate tiles, recessed lights, and a digital screen by the side. On the wall, there was a gold label that read: “AQUATONE – VOICE ENABLED SYSTEM.” I narrowed my eyes. …Hello?” A mechanical chime responded, “Greetings. Shower ready. Would you like to begin a morning playlist?”

I stuttered, intentionally acting stupid, so he doesn't take me seriously, he drew closer to me, letting his guard down and immediately I attacked, snapping his neck to make him lose consciousness, “Come to the door I entered through, come there now,” I informed Sage through the mind link, “Yes Alpha,” he responded immediately. I picked up the usb flash drive that I saw in the drawer and searched his pocket and saw another flash drive, and identical one to the flash drive in the drawer. I carried him over my shoulder and quickly made my way to that door, Sage was already waiting for me there. “Do you have a wolfsbane with you?” I asked Sage immediately I saw him, still walking into the fores

Without even bothering to fight him off, the boy lifted two fingers to his lips and let out an ear piercing whistle that echoed across the quiet parking lot. For a second, nothing happened. Then, like it was some sort of signal, softer versions of the whistle started echoing from all around us. Lucas let the boy drop back down to the ground and turned towards me, the blood draining from his face. He stretched out a hand to me, “we have to go now Luna.” It felt like everything happened in slow motion. From the first thump at the back of my head, to the cold slimy feeling as bits of raw egg flowed into the space behind my collar and down my back.
