She had defeated her father, but the path forward would demand more than just strength—it would require wisdom, resolve, and a commitment to the peace she desperately sought. “Are you ready?” Xavier’s voice broke through her thoughts, his presence a steadying force at her side. He had shifted back into his human form, and even now, the remnants of battle clung to him like a shroud. His blue eyes held a mixture of concern and unwavering support.

) Lyca retorted in terror. "Grr..." Lyca had no idea what was going to happen next. Her vision went black, and she remembered nothing. Meanwhile, Xavier made his move. He met Lyca's leap with his strong arms. "Huh, I'm too confident in your ability-" he sneered. So the fight between Xavier and Lyca's wolf began and did not end immediately. Xavier, who is still human, has no choice but to avoid lethal attacks. "Interesting! You're stronger than the other..." Instead of being nervous, Xavier remained happy and calm. For the first time, he enjoys playing with the wolf.

As Nadia looked back, she noticed Sonia approaching Xavier. Sonia appeared hesitant, having just witnessed Xavier's interaction with Candice. Upon seeing Sonia, Xavier greeted her with a smile and asked, "Is there a problem? Are you feeling ill?" Seeking clarification, she questioned, "Do you know Candice? I just saw you two talking. She's actually a friend of mine, so I thought I would ask." Xavier's eyes momentarily betrayed his cunning before he masked it with a feigned sadness. He lamented, "Yes, I know Candice. We were business associates once. I heard she left Aether Corporation and thought of inviting her to Horizon Holdings. Unfortunately, she wasn't interested."

"Alpha's orders. Protect the children first. Let the warriors handle the rogues." Shift. Every single person in this room could turn into a wolf. Everyone except me. I was the only human here. The only normal one. The only prey. My heart pounded so hard against my ribs it hurt. The front door suddenly burst open with a bang that made me jump. Heavy footsteps thundered through the house. Male voices called out sharp commands in words I couldn't quite make out. Then Xavier appeared in the doorway. He was human again but he was covered in blood. It stained his torn shirt and dark jeans. Streaked through his hair. Smeared across his arms and hands like war paint.

Just as he was about to reach the other man, a voice suddenly echoed through the silence, replacing the previous growling. "Son of Man... Can't you help us? ... We didn't mean to hurt you." Xander's eyes flitted about, searching through the crowd of trees as he held his firm voice. "Who's there?" "We didn't mean to harm them. We thought it was that man... Ikhid was the bravest... he wanted to help us out of here... We originally were out hunting... then, a human found us. He befriended us... and then.... took my mate and children..."

He had cornered her, and Kenzie was preparing herself to send a mean right hook to his testicles, but didn't get the chance. Xile had pulled the teenage Lycan away from her and literally threw him down the corridor. He then nodded for her to continue on her way, and she did just that. Kenzie had learned that out of all of Viper's den brothers Xile was the quietest. He rarely spoke unless he was spoken to, or he had something he felt was important enough to say. Kenzie was brought out of her thoughts as Rain began to keen next to her. She knew the little animal had to go to the bathroom and she quickly got up, taking her there. The last thing she wanted was to have to clean up an accident.

This was turning out to be the most complicated case I've handled in a while. "Hey, what's new?" "Aaron, come look at this." I explained everything from the pictures to him, and he too pinched his forehead in confusion. "We'll do one thing after another." "First, let's call Sonic the Hedgehog one more time." I looked at Xavier to see if he understood what Aaron was blabbering about, but he was also obviously lost. "I mean, blue-haired guy, you two buffoons." "Oh, Mr. William!"

his mother said calling me back to the matter at hand "Excuse me but I will like to see your son outside and we will be back soon" I said and they nodded Xander followed me outside and when we were out of sight, he grabbed me by my shoulder and "leave her alone" "Or else what " I dare him, I wasn't scared of him "I can make you disappear from the surface of the earth" he threathened "Yet, you can save her from your parent" I retorted sapping his hand away

he said. “The human boy was not the target but the girl was,” Xavier said. “What? Someone wants to kill Amanda?” asked Kai. “Yeah, someone knows she is here in my territory, they did not want to kill her but to capture her,” Kai said. “Brode, bring the culprit here,” Xavier ordered. Brode walks towards the dungeon and dragged a man, who seemed human. “A human? He killed a boy?” screamed Kai. “Yeah, it is a human,” said Xavier. “He will tell next,” Xavier said.

"I've been here for a couple of days, listen there is no need for you to doubt my words. If I haven't made a violation on the road then you can leave, the moment the guards of the Xaviers accepted me means I am not lying." His eyes were on me with a slightly raised of his brow his lips curved in a wry smile. "It's my job to see things thoroughly. And since I am already here, it's better if we just wait for Mister Xavier." There was a hint of finality in his words that I couldn't argue, a sigh escaped my lips. Yes, he is good-looking looking bad it's too bad that he is human. No matter how strong, humans don't get a chance to fight wolves whether they are from special forces, only they can be
