Liora's POV The nightmares started three nights after the training room attack. At first, they were quiet — soft whimpers in the dark, Alora tossing and turning in her sleep. But by the fourth night, they had become full-blown terrors that tore through the silence of the mansion like shattered glass. “Mommy! No! Don’t take me!” Her scream ripped through the room at 2:47 AM. I bolted upright, heart exploding in my chest, and pulled her into my arms before she could thrash herself off the bed.

But here she was, still in her frail nightdress. “What am I to do with you, Ava?” Shirley lamented staring daggers at her friend. “You should have woken up when I asked you to, but you were extremely busy battling unknown forces in your dreams again,” Shirley explained, worry evident on her face. “Shirley please” Ava shrank, her expression unfazed as the large woman, big as life and extremely mean, stepped foot inside the room. Everyone was properly dressed and ready, except for the blue-eyed girl with curly white hair.

“For some, I guess I would. Sweetheart, this is not something I would want to bring you into, but I have no other choice.” “I get that. Always trying to protect me. However, this time I think I need to know so I can help you. Something is clearly bothering you.” She said as she looked into the golden pools of his eyes, and she almost forgot why he was there. She had to shake her head, and she knew she could not get distracted by his eyes and the wonders contained in them. “This is not something that is normal, either.” He stated as he looked at her. “A nightmare.”

And now, I had just stepped into the one place she could never reach. Mom laughed softly and that's when I noticed her standing by the door frame, her phone in hand. She must've also come in to inform me about it but Mia had beat her to it. “I can only imagine the look on her face.” I smirked. “She must be livid.” “Oh, she is,” Mom confirmed. “The next club meeting is scheduled for this evening. All tiers are invited, but their seating arrangements will be... different.” Meaning that Victoria would be forced to sit below me. I leaned back against my pillows, stretching my limbs. “Perfect.”

Suri recounted her experience, explaining, "Every night, I have nightmares where I was beaten up! When I wake up the next day, these bruises appear on my body. It was especially bad before coming to Bloomington..." Taking a deep breath, Suri gently pulled down her collar, revealing her neck. "The person in my dreams tries to strangle me with a rope, and when I wake up, my neck looks like this." There was a dark red ring on her neck, with the imprint of a rope visible. Suri noticed Chad's shocked expression, and she added with a rueful smile, "And my room has surveillance; every time I wake up, I check the footage immediately, but no one has entered."

With that thought I have an urge to feel more pain till my body starts feeling numb. I deserve it. I deserve suffering. I deserve hatred. I deserve pain. I deserve nightmares. I deserve to fucking die. My sister, my unborn child, Zara. I killed all of them.

I slapped my hand on the table, which garnered the attention of the others in the room, but I didn’t give a fuck at this point.

I jolted awake, trembling violently as cold sweat clung to my skin. A nightmare. Only a nightmare… though Hazel remained strangely restless beneath my skin. Suddenly, the door pushed open and Dominic crossed the room in seconds, concern darkening his expression. He was beside me before I could steady my breathing, his hand closing around mine. "Are you hurt, Natalia?" "I heard you from the room beside yours.” I turned my gaze to him as I regained my composure. "I–I'm fine. It was just a nightmare," I said, brushing away strands of hair from my face.

Her voice was tired, resigned. “Everything…including the nightmares. I’m sorry, but he had to know what he was doing to you, to all of us! Especially after his lunatic girlfriend threatened you! You hadn’t had a nightmare in weeks, and then his psycho chic showed up and made them even worse than before!” She was right, the nightmares were worse. They even seemed longer. They were more vivid, the screams clearer, tormenting Lee even more. Her screams were even louder than they usually were.
