The flowing sadness

The flowing sadness

Staring in deep sadness, Loathefiya was grazing at the pertty doll when all her thoughts got interrupted from another voice she heard from behind of a little girl, shouting, "MAMA! I WANT THAT DOLL!"

THE LABYRINTH

THE LABYRINTH

The lantern flame shivered as if it could feel the sound. “Poios eísai…?” (Who’s there?) Red points opened in the dark—two at first, then another pair lower, wrong in their spacing. The light wobbled in his hands. He took a step back; the rack bit his spine. A shape uncoiled from shadow. Long where it shouldn’t be, jointed where bone had no right. The smell came first—iron and damp stone and something like old meat that remembered being warm. “Boítheia!”

The Hidden Luna Queen

The Hidden Luna Queen

Then he turned to me and gave me a warm smile. “Now, your Luna Queen would like to have a few words as well.” I too prepared my own little speech, and I spoke confidently to the crowd as I did before. I ended the speech with, “Though there were many lives lost… they will never be forgotten, and these lanterns represent each life that was taken over the years, either by the former Alpha King himself or by the bears.” The lanterns had the names of those deceased on them, created by Leonora herself.

No matter how intriguing this book is, don’t start it unless you’ve checked that it’s been completed, or be prepared for long waits. This is author is trying to write 13 stories at once. Updates are slow and she is stretched too far.

How often are the chapters added? As an avid reader I'm loving the story, but now I'm having to wait for more chapters. The top ups are not cheap so I cannot afford to use them to start another book. Also I hope this book is not short lived, meaning so many unanswered questions involving characters.

Lanterns

Lanterns

The moonlight was stopped by tree leaves and through the small gaps between the branches seeped the moonlight. Her heart raced wildly as she ran through the spiny trees. Her skin was sliced by the sharp tree branches. But she didn’t feel any pain at the moment, all she could feel, was horror and sadness deep inside her heart. ……………………………………..

THE CURSE OF THE FIFTH MATE

THE CURSE OF THE FIFTH MATE

Nightveil shimmered with light and life, a rare sight after so many days drenched in blood and fear. Lanterns floated above the treetops, glowing orbs tethered by enchanted string and soft hope. They bobbed like captured stars, their warm amber flicker casting shadows that danced across the clearing. The music—drums, flutes, and laughter—rose and fell in waves, weaving joy through the battered bones of a pack that had seen too much.

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

When Elara, Lyra, and the goddess drifted near his position, he didn’t move forward; he simply offered a small, deeply respectful nod—not a demand, not a claim of ownership, but a quiet acknowledgment of their sovereignty. As the midnight hour approached, the festival’s central bonfire roared higher into the dark sky, throwing brilliant sparks upward like newborn stars. Guests began releasing small paper lanterns into the freezing air, their inner flames colored by the intent of those who held them—gold for hope, silver for healing, and crimson for strength. Together, Elara, Lyra, and the goddess held a single lantern aloft. Their fingers brushed in a silent alliance as they released it, wat

Greedy Me Wants All Alphas to Myself

Greedy Me Wants All Alphas to Myself

"What… what was that? Why would it do that?" Levy’s gaze never left mine. He slowly walked over to the fallen lantern, which had now dimmed to a soft, pulsating glow. He bent down, and with a casual, almost reverent motion, placed his hand on the body of the lantern, not the lid. Instantly, the light softened, steadying into a gentle, golden radiance. He picked it up effortlessly, as if it weighed nothing. "This lantern, Darren," he said, his voice calm, almost educational, as he held the now placid, glowing artifact. "It recognizes its true wielder. It responds to them, and only them. It can be… quite volatile if someone attempts to activate it improperly."

The Carpathian Prophecy Of Alpha's Love

The Carpathian Prophecy Of Alpha's Love

Eluna carried a single silver lantern alone through empty stalls. Each stall represented a pain point: fear, loss, prejudice. Behind each hung cloth depicting tragedies—eclipsed villages, broken families. Eluna stepped to the first and softly lit the lantern near it. Eluna (whisper to festival wind): “We remember.” Across stalls, firelight ignited the images—transforming them from shame to acknowledgement. At the last stall, she found a blank cloth. She painted: “Hannah” and lit the lantern. The lantern flickered—and all lanterns lifted, drifting together across stalls like souls set free.

The Lycan King's Curse

The Lycan King's Curse

Everywhere I looked were flickering candles, which illuminated the faces around me—each etched with sorrow yet filled with reverence. The clearing had been transformed into a sacred haven, a sanctuary where our pack could find solace and connection. Soft, ethereal music played in the background, the haunting melody intertwining with the whispers of the wind. Candles flickered, casting a warm glow upon the gathering, illuminating the faces etched with both sorrow and reverence.
