Black. He had black eyes. Those previously dark brown eyes of his had turned completely black. There was no sclera around them. No iris. Just...black. Completely black. Devoid of any light. Any soul. And his mouth...it wasn't normal anymore. His lips weren't looking that appealing anymore. Because there were sharp, jagged teeth protruding from in between them. Making him look like the most frightening demon that she had ever seen.

“Are you alright?” The man shifts, his head snapping up, and my breath hitches at the gaze that falls on me and latches. It is his eyes that have me scrambling back and away from him. Soulless, piercing eyes, devoid of humanity. I’ve seen them before. The eyes of a cold blooded murderer.

Their eyes gleam a vicious, evil red that shows the true depths of their soullessness. All at once, they charge at Gamma Everly.

Not the clean, beautiful white of the snow—no, this was a milky, deathly white. Next, his face became clearer, revealing a pair of thick lips, a broad, flat nose and no eyebrows at all. His eyes were closed, but his eyelids were so pale Leesa could almost see through them. She tried to pull her gaze away from his hideous face, but found she was unable to move her head. Suddenly, the man’s eyes shot open. Leesa gasped. His eyes were without eyeballs—no iris, no pupil, nothing. Just a flat, pinkish film. Despite the empty eyes, Leesa was certain the man could see. She shuddered.

Soon I saw them approaching, thousands of creatures all of them looking feral, without fear or soul in their eyes. Ogres, Giants, Goblins, and Demons, among others. Coral´s eyes were pitch black, while my mother´s were completely white. Long gone were her green eyes or her loving gaze. Not that she did show love often, but well, long gone was any expression of humanity in them. My heart shattered at the sight. After all, she was my mother, and her soul was so corrupted by vengeance and hate that darkness had possessed her completely.

"Your body can't move, but I haven't restricted your soul. Why don't you try fighting me with soul attacks? Oh, right. It wouldn't work on me anyway, and you know it." At that, Felix lost interest in further conversation. A silver gleam flickered in his eyes. "Spirit Eye." This was a soul technique from the Phaeron Codex. It had no offensive capabilities, but it allowed Felix to see into a person's soul without even touching them. With Spirit Eye, all that nonsense about Soul Manifestation was completely irrelevant. If he hadn't needed to reach Higher Spirit Realm to unlock this ability, he would have been using it ages ago. As Spirit Eye activated, the middle-aged man's soul was laid bare.

“I know Aspen. Let’s keep the rogues back and pray Maliyah is strong enough to face him until Davina can help her. We are unable to help her up there.” Neither of us like being in this position but we don’t have a choice. These rogues seem a little off. I could swear some have different body parts that do not belong and it’s as if though the body is moving, there is no one in their mind. The eyes appear soulless. “These soulless creatures’ blood tastes awful,” gags Nero. “I want to know what in the world Alastor has been up to.”

She took a massive, panicked gulp. He seemed to be peering straight into her soul. His intense gaze pierced through her body like a drill, making her violently tremble. "I'm sorry, Master. I didn't see you," she hurriedly apologized, desperate to get out of there. He didn't respond. He simply stood blocking her path, never taking his piercing eyes off her. She nervously cleared her throat to get his attention, but it didn't work. After a few agonizing seconds of standing there in heavy silence, he finally decided to speak.

Lise cried out loudly as her butt hit the granite, and might have wounded her as well. “Open your eyes,” Andreas spoke in a commanding tone. Yet Lise did open her eyes, she fisted her hands by her side still praying and hoping God would save her from this monster. “Open your eyes.” He snarled and practically spat on her face. The chill of his voice reached down into her cells as she was beginning to scum into the darkness. Her brain ceased to work and she wasn’t able to comprehend what he was actually saying. Her pulse ran wild on her neck, which didn’t go unnoticed by Andreas.

Vampire eyes are typically red just like what you can see in movies but with us, we have different shades of red for us to be distinguished from the lowerbloods because they only have plain red eyes. For the Fall House, they got the shade of maroon reflecting a sword when you look closely. For House Ruin, they got the shade of red orange reflecting flames. For us, we got crimson red reflecting the crescent moon. Though, I’ve got different eyes, far different from ours and even the other houses. My right eye is crimson red reflecting the crescent moon while my left eye is ocean blue reflecting the clouds. I don’t have any idea what it looks like and can’t remember since when I had the eyes.
