Jackson mind-linked to me. “I love you too,” I replied, wiping away my tears. We were ready for the second part of the ceremony. Elder Johanna was leading the ritual. She approached us, placed her hand over our joined hands, prayed to Selene, and nodded to Jackson. “I, Jackson, Alpha of the Silver Moon pack, declare you, my mate Loreen Liira of the Silver Moon pack, our Luna—the Luna who will stand beside me to lead and protect our pack,” Jackson proclaimed. “I, Loreen Liira, born of the Lunar Eclipse pack and now a member of the Silver Moon pack, accept the title of Luna to Alpha Jackson and to our Silver Moon pack,” I said, locking eyes with him.

"Aren't you supposed to be at the downtown apartment? Where's your mother?" Luna swallowed and held up her medal. "Daddy, I won this at the heir assessment. I was supposed to come in first—" Before she could finish, Sofia knocked the medal from her hand. "That's a lie! I'm the one who came in first! Where did you come from, you bastard? You really think you're good enough to compete with me? Dream on!" Sofia huffed and, right in front of everyone, flung the medal to the ground and stomped it under her heel. Then she tipped her chin up and gave Luna a hard shove.

As i headed up to my room, I once again, found Amanda in my room. "What do you want Luna?" "I believe you have heard I'm pregnant with the Alpha's child. I want you stay away from him. He already has a luna and child. He doesn't need you." "What makes you think he needs me?" She was taken aback by my words. "And Luna, may I know when was your luna ceremony?" I questioned. She took a step back. "A year ago." She mumbled. "I see." I lowered down my head. She flipped her hair and walked out.

"Both my parents, want to build a strong relationship with the Young Clan, Mary’s Family. The single most impossible thing they can do to strengthen our clan, by uniting me and Mary as mates." Maxine nodded faintly. "Indirectly, they want to make Mary as your Luna?" It was Maxim's turn to nod. "Yes. More or less like that." "Isn't it just the Moon Goddess who can decide such things?" "They're sure, if I get used to being with Mary, making her my mate, then the Moon Goddess will cast her as my Luna." "Mmm," Mary sighed in between her nods. "I will pray, may the Moon Goddess approve what you are trying to do."

' She wanted to throw a fit. Luna is rare among the pack. They are called as "blessed child" and possess healing ability. They'll become important and need protection in every pack. There are very few Lunas in the pack. The majority of them are served in the goddess temple to offer their protection and guidance to their pack. Alpha was willing to kill to mate with them. For protection, other Lunas take multiple mates as partners. But in some cases, they die at the hands of their alpha partner, who doesn't want to share their mate with others. To her dismay, she tried to reread the documents, but the name she was hoping to see there was not on the list.

Selene made it so” My mom had talked about Selene from time to time but I wasn’t aware of the whole ‘mate’ thing. “Em, I tried telling you gently that he is our mate. This is a good thing! You will be a luna!”. I choked on Morg’s words. A luna?! Oh dear lord. I can’t even pick an outfit, let alone run a pack. Once again, grace could see the struggle on my face.

Caleb gripped the steering wheel tightly. “Caleb?” Through clenched teeth, he said, “She was a redhead, Diana. He’s a red lupus garou looking for a mate. There must be a shortage of eligible females in the area.” Diana's throat felt parched as if she’d crossed the Badlands without a lick of water.

"Why are you doing this? I am your Luna?" Alison Carter, Luna of the Rose Moon Pack, cried while clutching her side. Bleeding from her Alpha's claws. Her red long hair was now drenched with blood. Her sapphire eyes reflected her fear and disgust against the perpetrators.
