As the cars revved their engines and prepared to battle, I couldn't help but notice that Tyler's car was the only one that looked normal. Turning to Trevor and Ryan, I couldn't help but voice my concern. "What happens if you lose?" I asked.

Mike helped me up and said softly, "Don't be scared. We've been following you." I asked timidly, "How did you find me?" Mike and the others explained, "We were supposed to get off the subway earlier, but we got distracted and missed our stop. By the time we finally got off, the subway had already stopped running. "It was late, and we couldn't get a cab. We didn't know where to go, so we just followed you. We never expected to see what just happened." I nodded, and for some inexplicable reason, I said, "Why don't you stay here tonight? I happen to have an extra room."
