I turned on a few lights and started the coffee pot. I started looking through the fridge for food. I had to see what we could make for breakfast this morning. I had plenty of eggs, there was a loaf of bread along with sausage and bacon. As I looked at everything, Sloan walked into the kitchen with a vintage-looking T-shirt and blue jeans on. She looked incredible like that as she got mugs out for everyone in the house. “What are we making for breakfast this morning?” she asked as she got her coffee in her mug. “I’m not sure. We could make scrambled eggs with sausage and French toast. I just need to make sure I have syrup.”

"Oh, don't just sit there. Help yourself with the food. Breakfast is until 11, so you better hurry." Liam and I stood, but I gave him the piss-off look as confusion fell on his face. I like to count those times as our alone times. Reaching over with my dry hand, I pick up a fork to scoop up some of my breakfast. A recipe I found in a book I read the other day when I was supposed to be sleeping in bed. It's a dish called 'Sheepherders Breakfast' that is now one of my favorite breakfast dishes in the world.
