Spider Lilies Novels & Stories

She lifted her gown and hurried after him as she was filled with a child-like enthusiasm. Finally, they stopped in front of a different place. It eaf filled with lilies growing tall. They were all red. A sheer red that was brighter than the rest of the leaves. Lillith walked to one of the lilies and plucked before comparing it with the leaf in her hand. The lily had a glitter to it. She turned it under the light of the sunset and she caught several tiny glitters that shone around it. She looked up to see Leon staring at her. "Is this magic? Can you tell me about this?"

Her hand reached out, touching and stroking Largo's big hand which was still on her cheek. The three Lycans raised their eyebrows when they saw what was on Lilly's fingertips. They could see small Ylang flowers on each of her fingertips. The fragrant scent of flowers filled their noses. Made them relax instantly. The spell was finally completely destroyed. Now their little mate is completely filled with a mystical aura. She is a Dryad. The only tree fairy in all the Realms. “I have something to tell you…” Lilly said softly. Her eyes slowly opened. Her head still rested on Draco's chest. She curled up, enjoying the warmth of her mate's body.

POV Eleanor The doctor gave me bad news about my vision. I swallowed hard, and for a moment, I panicked. King Alpha was discussing with his Beta a strategy to find the antidote to this poison. The problem was that the antidote was contained in the stem of the plant. The blue Lebanese lily releases a powder made of silver sulfate; it is an aquatic plant, and underneath it, there is a substance in the stem that neutralizes the poison. I took a deep breath and felt someone approaching again. This plant was extinct, and Alpha Gideon was frustrated because he didn't know where to start looking.

After Ryan left yesterday, I spent the entire day drawing and labeling each ingredient we’ll need for the antidote, including the rare flower the healers told me is probably gone forever. While researching the Moonlight Fire Lily, I found that it only blooms in full moonlight as well as only blooming in the wild. The image in Sarina’s plant species book was orange and red with hints of yellow at the tips of the petals, making it bright and hopefully easy to locate.

I had been so sure I would never forgive either if them for what they did to me, but only a wave of butterflies collided in my belly when I looked at the row of dandelions and purple lilies lined against the wall. How did they know I liked dandelions? I could tell the sunflowers were from Laziel. Something about its slow lazy beauty reminded me of the elite shifter. Ronan must have gotten the pristine white spider lilies. Of all the four, he was the perfectionist. The most mysterious. “That has to be from the Alpha. Red bougainvillea. Outlandish, and yet, reserved, just like him,” I chuckled, pointing out the wooden pot on the side of the big window that was o

I twisted sideways sharply, shifting back to human form and drawing the silver knife Rhys had given me. Silver flashed as the blade plunged into the spider's belly. The spider shrieked, its limbs twitching frantically. I shifted back to wolf form and lunged at its exposed weak spot – the soft tissue under its head. A fatal blow. The spider fell, but the poison was spreading. My fur was matted with it in several places, the wounds burning. Venom-Mist Spiders wouldn't just show up here. It was… Cassidy. That strange smell earlier, and the "herbs" she was gathering near the cave – it was a scent to lure the spiders!

Or just native to the Lycan realm? I decided not to dwell on that for long, instead, I took a few steps forward and crouched beside a cluster of pale-blue blossoms that glimmered faintly. “Okay, Pearl,” I said, touching one gently. “This one is called Moonlace Hydrangea.” Pearl leaned closer, eyes wide. “It’s shiny.”

It was a barren wasteland, a piece of earth that had been passed around like a bad debt for decades. My heart skipped a beat. This was it. In my past life, I had watched from the sidelines as this land was mocked as a "charity case" for the auction house. People called the buyer a fool. But I knew the truth. The land didn't reject life; it was simply nurturing something far more precious than common grain. The soil was rich in a very specific, rare mineral composition that acted as poison to normal plants but served as the perfect holding place for the Obsidian Lily. The Obsidian Lily was a flower that didn't grow toward the sun; it drew its energy from the minerals in the earth and the moon

He particularly highlighted that text. I spin around, moving to the hidden door behind my desk. I press the hidden latch, and the wall swings open, revealing a small, dusty room. My swan library. My collection of forbidden knowledge. I step inside, my fingers trailing over the spines of ancient books. I find the one I'm looking for. A worn, leather-bound volume, its pages yellowed with age. I open it, my eyes scanning the text. "Lilies. A sacred flower to the swan shifters. They are drawn to its scent. They use it in their rituals, their ceremonies. The presence of lilies in an unexpected place often indicates the presence of a swan."

It was the look of someone who had watched everything she loved burn to the ground and had already swept up the ashes. "And yet, here I am, offering to make things grow," she said softly, her voice losing its mocking edge. She turned back to the flower bed, gesturing with her chained hands toward the withered stems. "Look at the soil. Your gardeners are treating these like standard hybrid lilies. They’re overwatering the surface while the deep roots are suffocating from a lack of air. Moon Whispers don't feed on water, Jacob. They feed on intention. On the specific silver current that flows through the earth during a waxing moon." I frowned, stepping closer despite myself. My broad shoulders
