He wiped his mouth and caught his breath while every part of his body shook, cold sweat dotting his neck. I’m turning. Hunched over, he placed his hands on his knees and breathed out. It’s not just my face anymore. He could no longer convince himself it was a fluke, something temporary. But somewhere inside he’d always known. This isn’t going away! He swallowed, tasting remnants of puke. I’m changing into a spider. Seated on the edge of the bed, he hung his head. What’s wrong with me? He drove a fist against his palm. Why me, dammit!? His hands tingled, and that’s when it hit him:

Swinging its steel limbs, it lunged at Adrian, casting a looming shadow over the human before it. Upon seeing this, Adrian smirked disdainfully. He threw a powerful punch, shattering the air around him. The clash between his fist of flesh and blood and the cold steel limbs of the mechanical spider sent shockwaves through the air, making leaves flutter. With a dull clang, the supposedly indestructible steel limbs of the spider twisted and bent, leaving a noticeable dent. Ivory, utterly bewildered, exclaimed, "This is impossible? This material is state-of-the-art, over two hundred times harder than ordinary steel!"

All the ends of the spider's legs have turned into armored spikes, its mouth is open wider than a spider’s mouth should be as it flashes rows and rows of black teeth. My arms fly up in defense. I scream the only thought that comes to my mind. “HEAL!” A blinding bright white and golden light bursts out of me sending Noroya flying in a tree as time returns back to normal. When I see her again, half of the spider’s body looks like it was charred by an explosion. It is crumpled at the bottom of a tree. Vertigo hits and I lose my balance. My knees hit the ground. ‘You need to get out of here. Now!’

She was nothing but a traitor now. "I'll be outside boss," Spider said. Not waiting for my reply, he made his way out. I picked up the stun baton—thick, black, and buzzing with voltage. And the second I flicked it on. The sound alone made her scream, like her body already knew what was coming. "Kaden, please...don’t, don’t do...," Her words shattered into a scream. I jammed the baton into her bare ribs, the crackle of electricity surging through her bones as her body jerked like a puppet on snapped strings. Her mouth flew open in another scream, eyes wide, tears flying as she thrashed against the ropes.

David hides behind a thick trunk. He hears a lot of spitting sounds as the bone spider continues to release a barrage of sharp bone daggers. Then silence. David peeks out of the thick trunk and he sees Bob angrily stabbing the spider with David’s bone knife. The creature tries to shake off Bob but the monkey rampages on its back. Bob holds on tightly to the bone spider’s large back and continues to stab its weak points with David’s sharp bone knife. Eventually, the bone spider stops moving as Bob manages to pierce its head by hitting a weak point on the skull. The bone spider falls flat on its body as Bob drives the knife deeper.

He just couldn’t move forward. Naraja: “The f*ck? Is this your doing!” *CRUNCH!!* Naraja: “AWWRRRGGGHHHHHH! MY LEEEGG!!” ???: “Oh my. I’m sorry, did that hurt Naraja~?
