I felt the itch on my body but I didn’t experience shifting during the blood moon. I finally found Alarick, who was still drinking his beer. “Alarick.” I tapped his shoulders as he is now immersed in the moon’s energy. “What is it?” I saw his eyes turn from bloody red to silver. However, as she turned back, a bloodcurdling scream roared in her throat. There, standing in the center of the room, bathed in the moonlight streaming through the little cracks in the window, was Lord Draven. She had to admit her doubts about Brady. Later, after work, she cleaned up and prepared for closing the shop. “You be careful tonight,” Tommy called out to her. “I’m careful every night, Tommy,” she replied. It wasn't a question, but I was asking him for the information I wanted to know. Estrebelle didn't say enough to me because I feel like something wasn't said to me. Why would I receive that warning during this time? He frowned. "Why do you want to know?" He asked me. His eyes are scrutinizing me, trying to figure out why am I asking these things of him.

"Yes. Are you happy? Do you really want to hear about how I'm going to be riding your uncle's dick later?" Hazel chuckled to herself and looked over to Gretchen. "Now we're talking. You're so nervous though. Why?" Gretchen turned around and said, "I don't know." Hazel smirked because she knew the truth, even if Gretchen wasn't ready to admit it to herself. Gretchen breathed in deeply through her nose then said, "It's the full moon, I guess. My senses are all crazy, it's like I'm on full alert and just waiting for something to happen. Does that make sense?"

I sat up, my brows curving in surprise at the serious look on her face. “It’s the season when a lot of killings happen. During the full moon, a monstrous beast goes about killing people and shedding blood. It’s an ugly sight to behold,” “What?” My mouth flew wide open. “Who is this monstrous beast and why is it killing people?” “Nobody knows who or where it comes from. It only appears every full moon and sucks the blood of innocent people,” “That’s crazy,” “Yeah. And that’s why people close their stores early around this period and stay indoors. It gets really bloody so make sure you don’t leave this mansion late at night,”

I was unintentionally opening the window again. "you are supposed to be resting" a voice startled me up to my awareness. I slowly turned and sauntered over to my bed. "It's not safe tonight, it's never safe during full moons" uncle stark leisurely sat on the edge of my bed. "We have loose bears running wild in our forests and some spotted wolves , the full moon kinda gives them some kind of connection to nature. Their desire to run freely is multiplied." Uncle stark stood up then headed over to the half-closed window. He closed the window firmly then drew the curtains " it's best if it remains shut"
