Creeping towards the door she shifts and a second later a see a silvery gold wolf dashing across the snow, her body low as she ran.

Peering through the branches, she struggled to see what had caused it but came up empty. The sun was gone now, only the faintest glow illuminating the sky. She realized this must not be the inhabitants’ favorite time of year; they probably appreciated those months when the sun was out most of the time. Shit, I hadn't made enough preparation to fight him, I thought to myself. "No, Ambrose. Have you forgotten what day it is today?" she asked. I narrowed my eyes. "No? Did I forget your birthday?" I tried to remember what she was talking about, but I couldn't think of anything. "Dear God, how could I have forgotten? I must've been distracted. Tonight is one of the nights the blood moon will rise. You need to leave Ana and go down to the cellar before midnight," Sylvia said. Fuck, the curse. I had forgotten all about it.

Louis asked as he looked at him suspiciously. “Well, all I had to do was politely ask a daughter to go visit her mother. The former beta’s daughter Rebekah, her mother is a member of the blood moon pack, I just want her to go there and see if she picks the scent of a witch. If a witch came there, her stench will linger on for a while” he said to Louis as his expression became a little bit serious. “That’s smart, you did not answer my second question though” he said with a worried expression on his face.
