Around 10:40 PM The sky was heavily dim as the dark thick clouds covered every part of the sky, leaving the sky moonless. At the rear end of the city, an abandoned warehouse with structure that had began to wither in the everyday weather stood alone in the darkness. The warehouse was quite far away from the center of the city, in an area that isn't residential. Since it was no longer in use, the surrounding was covered in weed and moss all over. At the sheetless roof of the warehouse, Jason and his two gammas, Terry and Harodd, stood on the iron beams, looking down at the world with a cold glare on their faces.

They even gave us a clue that our hacker deciphered easily, leading us to our first location. And we were likely going to meet the master mind's pieces before we'd even get to him. “And we're going to give them exactly what they want,” I muttered, staring back out of the window. The warehouse on Pier 15 looked exactly like what you would classify as a haunted one—abandoned, decrepit, the perfect place to make all kinds of secrets and shady dealings that could never see the light of day. Vale parked a block away, both of us silent as we checked our weapons and mentally prepared for whatever waited inside.

We departed from the woods and reached the town; a very lively place crowded with humans and a few werewolves, going about their daily lives. Everyone minded their business, giving us less attention and concentration. Tyler showed us a local hotel where we could lodge and settle to devise ways on how to attack the Crimson Fang. Because of our numbers, the hotel owner decided to give us two rooms instead of three. I had wanted my own space but there weren't any more rooms so we paid for two instead. Ash and Ghost occupied one while me, Tyler and Sunny occupied the other. The hotel was not that big but had large spaces outside which was used to run a restaurant and a local bar.

The rendezvous point was an old, desolate warehouse, standing in eerie silence as if time had forgotten its existence. Daniel approached cautiously, aware of the spooky aura that clung to the place. The rusty door creaked open with reluctance as he entered the dimly lit interior. Natalie was there, the sole occupant of this ominous sanctuary. Her figure seemed almost spectral against the faint light filtering through the cracks in the decaying walls.

After a short while the sickness subsides and I climb back in and we continue our journey towards the hotel. The hotel looks really cheap, which isn’t a problem at all, but it gives off an eerie, spooky vibe, like it’s haunted or something. I shiver at the thought. How stupid does that seem, a werewolf afraid of ghosts? Jeez, I am pathetic. The room itself is clean and comfortable. All I want to do is sleep right now. I have to go back to the hospital tomorrow and I’m exhausted. After I freshen up, I head to bed, wanting to forget about the day.

Thorne wasn't just tracking them; he was sweeping the entire grid with an iron broom. Twenty minutes later, the dense pine forest abruptly gave way to an industrial scar in the snow—an abandoned lumber-hub town consisting of corrugated sheet-metal warehouses, rusted sorting machinery half-buried in drifts, and a single, flickering neon sign buzzing above a weathered tavern door. The sign read THE SLICE, its amber letters sputtering against the grey dusk. Noah pushed Leo behind a towering stack of rotting cedar logs just fifty yards from the tavern entrance.

But I did live in Salem, after all. If magic were going to happen anywhere, it'd be in our town. Our regular spot was a movie rental place called Warehouse Video. Classic movie posters were plastered on the windows, and a neon sign hung along the top. It actually said AREHOUSE VID thanks to several missing light bulbs, but I liked it that way. It was "our house." The place probably would've closed up a long time ago, but the owner's son got the brilliant idea to add a coffee shop. The inside reminded me of what I thought a seventies disco would look like, and it smelled like stale popcorn and frothy coffee.

The old nun asked while looking at me. I shook my head frantically. She sighed, then got up. Walked to her wardrobe, opened and pulled out pairs of clothes. They were folded neatly and given to me. “ let me show you where to sleep,” she muttered as she walked away leading us to the warehouse . Once we stepped inside , the odd scent hit me , it smelt like old people , diapers and feet. The rest of the members lay in their beds asleep. Some murmured as soon as we walked in.

I lowered my phone before I went inside my room to sleep. Our van slowed to a crawl outside the dilapidated property at about two in the morning. Its barbed-wire walls creating long shadows in the floodlights. With its rusty sheet metal, damaged lettering, and vehicles parked in front as though they had been forgotten. It initially appeared to be an abandoned warehouse. However, we were aware. It was a butcher's lair within. Knox’s fingers flew over his tablet, screens flickering with the facility’s security grid. “Cameras are blind. Guards won’t see us coming for the next thirty minutes.” He murmured, his voice calm but taut with focus.

All traces of amusement leave my body with his words; I say goodbye to Philip with a kiss on the cheek despite hearing the brother's complaints and walk towards the hospital exit; we still have something pending. My heels click as I walk toward the entrance of this warehouse. It's one of the many wolf warehouses, although this one is a little different from the rest. It's far from the city, in a kind of dump. My hand is clasped around Oscar's as Noah and Raymond walk ahead of us, pushing and joking with each other. "What is this place?" I ask the black-haired man. One of my best buyers, Oscar said while blowing smoke from the joint he holds in his other hand.
