Thank you all for reading my book. This is my second book on good novel and I hope you all enjoy it. 'Quagmire' is a romance novel which possesses a lot of twists, turns, complications but still enough romance to keep it interesting and thrilling. The book is an entire work of fiction and is not intended to make mockery or downgrade any kind of individual.

I kiss his forehead and decide to leave before he wakes up. Before I can leave I trip on something. Frowning, I pick up the garment which was carelessly discarded on the floor. It's a grey hoodie and it must belong to Sky because it smells like him. I don't have the heart to leave it so I put it on a I leave before anyone can stop me.

The Hollow Choir carved their vault into the sub-basement that used to be the city morgue. Perfect place for dead things to keep secrets. We take the freight elevator shaft (ropes, claws, fox-fire, and one very pissed-off storm queen). At the bottom: a door made of human ribcages laced with silver choir wire. The six chained sorcerers are dragged in behind us, still bound in Shambhala silver. I don’t speak. I just look at the lead sorcerer and raise an eyebrow. He lifts a trembling hand. The ribs part like curtains.

He knew the path from the book: a narrow goat trail leading to a hidden cave overlooking the battlefield. He found it—a dark fissure in the cliffside, pulsing with a malevolent energy. Inside, on a crude stone altar, sat the artifact: a black cube of obsidian, veined with crimson light that throbbed like a diseased heart. He could hear the distant sounds of battle—the grunts of men, the sizzle of Keith’s fire magic, the unearthly shrieks of disintegrating ghouls. It wouldn't take them long. He had to move.

Without a thought, I decide to help Alec and retrieve the wand afterwards. ‘Skedaddle dash,’ I say, blinking from one spot to another until I reach Alec. Minotaur surrounds him with three harpies above him. He holds his hands out, and the ground around him rumbles. Hands and arms of shadow reach out from the ground and hold the legs of the Minotaur. They try to break free but doing so pulls the Shadow Reapers out from the ground. They turn into mist and lunge into the mouths of the minotaur, taking over their minds. They begin to fight each other instead of Alec. The ground rumbles again, but this time it’s not from Alec. The ground beneath his feet begins to sink. ‘Skedaddle Dash!’ I say, b

I need a little help here. The map glows for a moment, points toward the bed, and then goes blank again. I walk over to the bed. I pull back the covers and look under the pillows, but nothing. I go to my knees and look under the bed. Beneath the bed, I see a dark brown and black amulet shining at me, waiting for me to take it home. There is also a set of eyeballs looking at me.

Nothing happened for twenty minutes and Siku was wondering what she was supposed to expect with her blood and Ragnor's blood and all that ear-piercing chanting. "Is that it? The liquid is gone?" Siku asked the redcap goblin looking angry. "Patience little one, patience. Now listen," the redcap goblin said. There was a rumbling sound followed by what seems like an earthquake. Siku had to hold the creature to maintain her balance. The debris moved aside opening a pathway to a huge long big hall. Although some part of the roof was intent, some light rays have made their way through the broken side of the roof.

Zeda wanted to ask, but instead she decided to take a deep breath and lean back into the soft leather seat. Her mind buzzed with questions. She remembered the strange look on her parents' faces when they told her about Shadowbrook Academy, like they had no choice in the matter. She'd even tried to look up the school online, but the internet said it didn't exist and there was no information about its location. "What's the name of this place, sir?" Zeda couldn't hold back her curiosity. "Just call me Dale," the driver replied. "And the school is in Whispering Hollows."

She opened the door anyway. “These were your mothers. I thought you might like them. If you are going to the underworld, you will need to fit in.” She paused for a moment “There is a portal, not far from here. A cave about a mile and a half due south. It will take you directly to the underworld. Remember to trust no one, and do not reveal you name Avalon. You will not make it through until tomorrow if you do.” With that the door clicked back into place leaving me once again to my thoughts.

He smiled, not in the least intending to explain. She saw the amused look in his bright blue eyes. After dinner, they retired to the office with Rodolf. ‘Look,’ he said, ‘this is what I have found in the meantime.’ And he showed a map of a tunnel system under the sphinx of Gizeh. ‘According to my sources, it is certain that magical persons are being held there. Black magic shields things off there, ‘said Rodolf. Raven thought, then he ordered Ilva to come. Whispered something in her ear. She nodded and disappeared with a deep bow.
