Tears of A Dragon

Tears of A Dragon

“Hopefully they are here. But we must face what is happening now and this is the right time for us to strengthen ourselves and fight, until the water in this world runs out, while there is water left, we will fight until the last drop of water in this world.” “Long live King Aqua!” the soldier shouted without minding that the CanFes might hear them. “Long live King Aqua!” another soldier shouted, following the first one. “Long live King Aqua!” and everyone in the dungeon followed the first two soldier that made a chain of cheering up everyone.

Earth Has Fallen

Earth Has Fallen

"What's the big idea? We just got back from a mission for your commanding officer." "Our commanding officer," the soldiers repeat. "What mission?" Rebecca reaches into her pockets. The soldiers all raise their guns but Rebecca puts up one of her hands while very slowly reaching into her pocket. She pulls out the tomato seeds and shows them to the soldiers. "Your commanding officer offered us a job," Rebecca starts. "To go to Victory Section and get some seeds. See? We have the seeds right here." The soldiers keep their guns on us as they approach Rebecca and grab the seeds from her hand. As the soldiers look at the seeds, they huddle together and whisper. I can't be sure but I think I hear t

Rogue Alpha and His Hybrid Mate

Rogue Alpha and His Hybrid Mate

Sonia threatened. The doors opened and the vampire soldiers all entered with various weapons and ammunition in their hands. Sonia smiled and looked at them all, mockingly counting each and everyone of them as she was prepared for battle. “Since you have decided to be so adamant, I will have to stick with the hard way then” she stretched her hands and all the soldiers fell to their knees, all screaming in pain as they held onto their chest.

Harvested

Harvested

When the final table is placed, and the males disappear again, the announcer clears his voice. "Now, I will pair you. Please pay attention. As you can see, the tables are different colors. Please listen for your planet and your color. Vaals, Shikaz, blue. Cok, Kea, red. Peulo, Hassins, yellow. Makskin, Glortinon, orange. Frole, Bronkark, Earth, green. As per the rules to accommodate the fact that Earth does not send soldiers, it was planet Giamo's turn to skip Harvest. Please take your seats. The first course will be Juna fruit," he says, and my eyes widen as I realize one planet is excluded from sending women because of us.

I really enjoyed this book. It was sad, sweet, dramatic, romantic, violent, and had a wonderful ending. My only complaint is that some chapters that are from a different POV repeat 90% of the same scenes stated in another chapter. If they had been combined some way it would have been perfect!

The Dragon's Coveted Wife

The Dragon's Coveted Wife

Elric gave a harsh chuckle. "Men! Shall I inform him of who I am, or shall I let the guessing game continue?" Elric called over his shoulder. Five more soldiers appeared as if from thin air from the surrounding trees. They were all dressed in the same colors, crimson and gold, but their breastplates weren't nearly as ornate as Elric's. Saffron's eyes widened as the men appeared and her hope inflated again. Please, she prayed to whatever god was listening, get me out of here.

The Alpha’s Hidden Heiress

The Alpha’s Hidden Heiress

ARIA'S POV The air in the room felt heavy as the soldiers disguised as servants walked in, carrying the boxes of jewels. They wore plain clothes, looking down to avoid drawing attention. I could actually feel my heart pounding in my chest with every step they took. Finn stood next to me, his jaw clenched tight, and Adam remained calm and composed in front of us. The soldiers set the boxes down, their movement careful. Adam waved a hand, signaling for them to leave. “That’s enough. You can go now.”

Survive Me, Darling

Survive Me, Darling

“Oops, did I hurt you?” That voice. Of course—it was Ziva in a white thigh-high dress. Her lips curled into a wicked grin. “I hate her guts,” Kim muttered. Arrows rained around us. Bodies fell. Marked players crowded the exits, pounding on the doors in ferocious desperation. The unmarked players didn’t hesitate. They kept shooting. Bands glowed. Immunities climbed. Some players smashed vases, glasses, and bottles, turning them into weapons. My wrist pulsed again with the blue mark crackling like a living flame.

“It’s our emergency code system.” Robin raises an eyebrow. “Our?” She asks. I nod slightly. “We made it years ago.” Selena points at herself on screen. “I’m Purple.” Sav grins slightly. “Olive.” I rub tiredly at my eyes. “And I’m Red.” Wren immediately looks delighted by that. “That is actually adorable.” Robin nods enthusiastically. “Wait, no, I love that.” “It means drop everything and be there for each other,” Selena explains softly.

Speak To Me

Speak To Me

“Right now, men our best men are being sent on their way to set up around the aera and bring both your parents back to you safely. The men being sent are from the red team. The red team never fails.” There are teams? Gio nodded. We have seven teams. There are Blue, Black, Yellow, White, Green, Orange, and Red. “What about purple and pink?” Chasity asked. Gio smirked, and raised an eyebrow, “This is a government program. Not the girl scouts. We can’t send men in wearing Pink.” I nodded my head, “Good point. They don’t come across as threatening.” Chasity pouted, “Pink can be threating.”

Frequently Asked Questions

The games in 'Squid Game' are brutal twists on childhood playground classics, stripped of nostalgia and turned into life-or-death battles. The first game, 'Red Light, Green Light,' sets the tone—contestants must freeze when the doll turns, but anyone caught moving gets shot. Then there's 'Dalgona,' where players carve shapes out of fragile honeycomb candy without breaking them; fail, and it's goodbye. Tug-of-war pits teams against each other over a fatal drop, while 'Marbles' forces partners to betray each other in emotional one-on-one duels. The final game, 'Squid Game' itself, is a violent physical showdown resembling a mix of tag and territorial combat.

What fascinates me is how the show layers these games with symbolism. The candy shapes in 'Dalgona' mirror the players' fragile hopes, and 'Marbles' exposes how desperation erodes trust. The rules are simple, but the psychological weight isn't—every game peels back another layer of human nature under pressure. I binged the series in one sitting, equal parts horrified and mesmerized by how something so childish could feel so monstrous.
