Stabbing Pain Under Left Shoulder Blade And Chest Novels & Stories

ROSE My head is pounding and throbbing and it feels extremely heavy. My entire body hurts, but nothing is quite as bad as my chest. It is by far, the worst pain I have. It is so hard to breathe. And I can’t seem to move either of my arms. My left feels like it is tied up, but the right one has this nice warm tingling sensation moving up from my hand. It doesn’t feel tied up like the left, but like a weight is holding it down.

' All of a sudden, I felt an excruciating, sharp pain in my left shoulder. The ache making me drop to my knees as I slowly bring my hands to the area. Jahred runs over and takes his dress suit off, to only drape it over Fonz. I was now being yanked by my hair, indicating that my body must be in shock and dropped my barrier shield down. Jahred then rips out a small dagger from between my shoulder and arm pit. the blood filling my once white blouse. I in so much pain, I couldn't even talk. The air in my lungs were disappearing, my knees were sore and my stomach was cramping.

The blade. A sharp breath escaped from my lips. I honestly would have thought that it had all been a bad dream but then I was struck with a massive pain that shot through me. It stretched from the top of my head and traveled all the way down my body, settling mainly in my lower chest and right side of my face. I tried to push myself up but immediately cringed at the unexpected pain that spiraled in my wrist. I attempted to place more of my weight on my other arm and had better luck.

And neither do their sons, apparently. A sharp pain suddenly burned through my right leg. I moaned, twitching my hand in an effort to touch that space, to see what was causing the pain. But my right arm was tied up somehow, trapped against the side of my body. And when I tried to move it, more pain burst through me, but this was pain high in my chest. My collarbone. What had happened to me?

Heart thudding out of my chest, mild pain in my ribs from being slugged over his shoulder, and scorching heat in my groin, the panic followed all of it. Somehow, I had an inkling that he wasn't letting me go any time soon. I had gone still after his comment a few seconds ago and was now watching the pack house move further and further away.

Blair I could feel much needed warmth seeping through my aching body from the central heating of the office building and I involuntarily let out a sigh of relief that quickly turned into a grimace as a bolt of pain seared through my bruised ribs like a knife slice. I cringed and gritted my teeth, my hand coming to rest over my left side as I stifled a moan, breaths escaping my nostrils in small whistles as I struggled to breathe through the pain.

I don't know how long I lay there on the floor of the entertainment room. But the pain in my chest just won't go away, it has eased a bit but is still there. With difficulty I roll onto my side before sitting up. With one hand I press against my chest, where the stabbing pain persists. When I manage to get up, I stumble to the elevator and let it take me to my apartment. With any luck, Erina will be waiting for me there and we can work this out.

Then it strikes. For just a split second, there's a dull stabbing pain on the left side of my ribcage, right under my scars. The scars I got that day. I fumble for just a moment, but I find the right cords, and I continue singing, praying my voice doesn't waver. In a moment the pain is gone, dwindling into nothingness like an echo. I scan the crowd to see if anyone noticed, but there's no reaction. They're just sitting there, spellbound, oblivious to my momentary freak-out.

I close my eyes, waiting for the inevitable hit but the second I do, I feel arms wrap around my body, my hand moving and hitting something. It’s the squelching sound I hear next that has me opening my eyes. Shock flashes through my body as I realize he’s now standing frozen, his body slanting closer to my body like he’s leaning towards me, his eyes wide in pain— and now, there’s a hand wrapped around mine, shoving my knife into his chest. I don’t move, I’m not even sure I can until I hear him whisper softly behind me, “Just between the 4th and 5th rib on the left side. Do you feel that? The way the knife slides in clean? That’s the lung,”

I try to be strong for her, but the more I hear, the harder it gets. The paramedic’s voice continues, but each word feels like a hammer against my chest. “Left arm has mild abrasions below the elbow, severe bruising and muscle fiber damage on the shoulder and scapula. There’s a visible handprint on the left clavicle area. Possible clavicle fracture. Right arm has mild abrasions. Left leg has large areas of abrasion, bruising, and muscle fiber damage on the inner thigh, presumably from blunt force trauma. Similar injuries are found on the right leg. Abdomen is slightly bruised, but no organ displacement. Patient doesn’t respond to pressure. Chest bruised, with sharp pain in the right rib area
