I didn't remember the others, but I knew the Great Dane was Eliza's favorite. "Alright, now that you've met the pack, come and met the horse." I followed her into the barn and watched her flip on some lights. There behind a wooden door stood a large stallion. He was sandy in color, a black mane falling down his thick shoulders. He was tall and very intimidating. "This is Badger! He's a Lusitano, pretty isn't he?" I nodded at her, keeping an eye on the large beast.

He dragged her through the woods till they were in a small village, he hid behind a large stable peeping, she leaned forward to peer at what he was looking at but he pulled her behind him till one man walked out of the stable. When they were sure the man was gone and but of sight, Dragomir moved stealthily towards the stable and opened it, there were over twenty horses male and female and three ponies. Raisel looked at them with awestruck eyes, “Oh so adorable” “Raisel be on the lookout”, Dragomir said, he brought out a knife to untie one of the stallions, it looked just like Fury but it was much smaller in size and it had white specks in different areas of his body.

They hired workers and experts to maintain their horses’ health, including diet, grooming, and performance. The damn horse stable was bigger than my apartment. From the bottom of each stall hinged door was made of wood with bars attached in elegantly U-shaped allowing the head of the horse to move freely. It had windows and fans for ventilation and didn’t even smell disgusting at all. There were saddles, stirrups, headgear, halters, and bridles hung on its corner. “That’s Applejack, Bianca’s horse.” Bob pointed to the horse with a tall and slim figure. He said it was a thoroughbred and one of the most expensive horses that originated from England.

Anne's hand tightened on his arm as they reached the stable doors. Cedric paused, sweeping his cane over the threshold to determine if he had clear access before he ushered her inside. "Their sire was the famous Firestorm. The two mares I have are called Winter's Heart and Autumn's Flame. I've been calling them Heart and Flame." Anne held her breath in excitement as Cedric counted the stalls, his cane tapping lightly on each stall door they passed. Inquisitive equine faces poked out of the wooden enclosures. Cedric set his cane against one particular stall door. "Ahh, this should be Winter's Heart."

We stood there for a moment longer, the soft snorts of the horses and the distant rustle of leaves the only sounds between us, before Darren cleared his throat, his grin returning. "Alright," he said, slapping his hands together, "how about we check out the new stallions they brought in last week? I hear one of them is a real handful." I laughed, feeling the tension ease from my shoulders. "Lead the way," I said, letting him guide me deeper into the stables, away from the shadows of my mother's disapproval and into the warm, comforting chaos of the horses' world.

she smiled. Joel watched her with narrowed eyes. “Alright. What do you want? What can I give you?” he asked. Aaron was curious to see what she would ask. “A stallion.” “A stallion?” He frowned. “Yes. A strong healthy black stallion.” “Oh…” he nodded with a smirk. “Why a stallion? They are more….” “Difficult? Aggressive? I heard that. I don’t mind. Dealing with difficult creatures is becoming my specialty.”

I asked, eyeing the fine creatures for something familiar, trying to inject a bit of lightness into the heavy mood, my words coming out quiet. He didn’t answer at first, his quietness ringing loud, his face shut down, making it clear he wasn’t up for chatting. I edged closer, taking in his tense jawline, and my chest felt heavy. “I’ll go with Brown Starlight,” he said at last, flashing a quick half-smile as he led out a sturdy chestnut stallion. “I’ll claim Thunder, the white one with the wild blaze,” Sarah chimed in, her tone upbeat and almost buoyant, as she approached a glossy mare, her bottled-up excitement spilling over the awkwardness.

My attention had already drifted to the back of the stables, where a heavy wooden stall rattled under the force of a massive, restless animal. I walked over. Inside was a purebred black stallion. He was towering, his coat gleaming like obsidian in the dim light, and he was currently stomping his hooves, snorting aggressively at anyone who walked past. I stopped right at the edge of his enclosure. The stallion turned his massive head toward me, letting out a sharp, warning breath. I held my ground. Slowly, I reached my hand over the wooden gate. "Miss, please step back!" Davies yelled, his voice cracking with panic as he rushed over. "That's Mr. Blackwood's personal mount! He doesn't let anyo

Stella asked as she watched the Black stallion with fear in her eyes. “It is.” Kellar confirmed as he has seen the stallion with the elf prince when they first met. Kellar moved forward and stretched one of his hands out. “Your name is Midnight, right?” As if recognizing his name, the black Stallion moved forward and lowered itself to allow the to children to ride on its back. Kellar helped Stella up before he hopped on himself. The girl seemed uncomfortable and even let out a slight yelp when Midnight got back on his feet. “I have to tell you something.” Stella looked back at Kellar. “I have never ridden horses before.”

I hurried towards it, it look like a stallion I'm sure it is but I didn't know much about horse or any animals for that matter, its hair was so long and black, his eyes so dark it reminded me of Jet, even the horse was black.
