The Broken Candle

The Broken Candle

The divorce from Sean went off without a hitch. Rowena got the boot and did not get a dime. After Bennett gave her a piece of his mind and everyone else gave her the cold shoulder, she had no choice but to crawl back to Sean. However, Sean was practically broke, barely getting by himself. Supporting her? Not a chance. Rowena's kick had left Sean with a bum leg that twisted as it healed. Due to that, he hobbled around, nearly as good as crippled.

BROKEN BY A TORNADO

BROKEN BY A TORNADO

It was unusually beautiful that she thought what was meant to call her up from sleep early might be the cause of her waking up late in the morning, because, definitely, she could stay up all night watching it. Five minutes later, she saw a large, spinning whorl gradually emerging from beneath. Then she watched the planets spiralling into it. The whorl grew larger and larger as it swallowed the planets. She suddenly began feeling drowsy while she watched the drama, yawning and trying to keep her eyes wide. When the star spiralled into the whorl at last, Frances's eyes began to deem unrestrained. The whorl gradually began a disappearance, and her eyes got ever heavier. She finally fell into de

I was about to land my hand to press the wound when Charlotte slapped it away and gifted me another grimace look posing on her features. I glanced down at Xavier's artwork and found blood oozing out of the cuts. I groaned inwardly and tipped my head back, "Laugh more, Alpha Adriel. It's the biggest prank of your life, adore it more as you seem like doing less," Charlotte rolled her eyes off me and attended to the mess. I stayed quiet and cooperative, letting my mind dive into the chain of my restless thoughts after smiling one last time at my younger one.

At Janice's request, he had not yet turned on his tape recorder, though he really wished he had. Janice nodded. “Yeah, but I always liked the older versions, you know? The ones where they cut the wolf open and sewed stones into his belly?” Byron concurred, “They didn't have that in the old cartoon.” Janice smiled a little. “Nope, not even in the hilarious one that came out a few years ago. Did you ever see it?” Byron shook his head.

"What is this? Are you trying to make me feel better or something? Stop it, Allen. I don't need that kind of positive reinforcement. The fact is, I'm broken, right?" "Ash!" Aslan rolled his eyes. "What? Never mind, don't deny it. This has been my condition for a long time, right? Besides, I'm the one with the condition, you don't have to worry about it." Allen sighed. He knew Aslan just hated his condition, but Allen did not like it every time Aslan called himself broken. In Allen's eyes, Aslan was normal. A normal human being. He was just a little different from the other Alphas, and that did not change anything. He was still Allen's little brother, and Allen loved him.

Broken Season

Broken Season

Luna muttered, her words still audible to Rico. "Did you say I'm exaggerating?" Rico stood up from his chair, exhaling heavily at the end of his sentence. "Devan, Vano, if I die soon, blame your children and nieces for it. I truly saw the angel of death approaching when I heard about her news," Rico said, sounding tired as he held his throbbing temple. Luna, on the other hand, displayed quite the opposite reaction. She struggled to contain her smile at Rico's predicament, especially since it was due to her actions.

Revenge Of The Broken Luna

I think I threw up in my stomach. I got back home very late and needed to get some water. Because I was angry, I slammed the door of the fridge. As I turned to leave, I mistakenly bumped into Zaria who held a glass cup. The cup fell from her hand and broke into many pieces. "Ahhh!!" She screamed. "Are you okay?" I tried to support her but she pushed my hand away. "Don't touch me with your filthy hands!" She yelped in pain as she slowly approached the ground.

The Broken Vow

He was asking me to betray my pack again. My body trembled uncontrollably. Damian's expression softened when he saw me trembling. The edge in his eyes disappeared, leaving only warmth. He rose, crossed the desk, and lifted my chin gently. "Eva, the pack can't endure chaos. Help me this once." His voice was soft, almost tender. "Let's get through this together." Damian held my eyes, those deep, dark eyes, and once again, I saw the affection within. "The Blood Moon is approaching. The marking must be perfect. I will allow nothing to interfere. Do you understand, Eva?"

us voice broke. My heart cracked open, I struggled to hold back the tears. “My wolf started breaking,” he confessed "piece by piece. I was slowly turning rogue but I never stopped searching” I moved closer to him, my hand trembled as I reached up to touch his face. I opened my mouth to say something but he continued. “For months” he locked gazes with me "until the pain became unbearable. Until the pack elders decided I wasn't stable enough. And I was dangerous” a bitter smile crossed his lips " that's when they chained me.”

James Benton
I genuinely love this book, only problems I have with it is the fact that he never actually travels with the people he gets to join him (hattie Mia etc) I wish there were more interaction between them all. second is that there are only 2 or so chapters a day....I have plenty of coins to waste...

I believe no updates is due to the platform not the authors themselves. Many of the books I’m reading are not updated as well. It is possible the authors are not able to upload their chapters on the platform
