Everything looked normal outside so I shut down the computer and put all my fears aside to go to college. I waited for Isaac in the hall but he never came, the classes did not interest me in the least but I was hoping that he would show up so I decided to enter the section and take a seat in the back. I could barely focus on what the teacher was saying, first because my mind was on astral travel and second because my spine was killing me and I didn't feel comfortable in any position, lying down was what I needed but I had completely ignored the directions from the doctor. I took all my pills out of my backpack and swallowed them dry hoping they would help me survive until noon.

The demon definitely caught his attention. “You would eat my soul, what else?” He answered without second thoughts. Damien made it clear in the past that he would. “Yes, but aren’t you curious of what would happen next?” Chris is seeing memories as usual but the surrounding suddenly started collapsing. The scene shattered like fragile glass and then the scene turned into pitch dark. He felt the ground he was standing on shook, he felt the ground opened and he fell. Chris heard himself gasped, he is continuously falling. He tried closing his eyes but it did no comfort.

Please leave now and come to work from tomorrow.. " So saying he turned away from her and started to stare at the vast skies visible from his chamber's windows. Tanisi heart broke into pieces. She finally created the abyss between them. She looked calm on the outside but it felt as though her soul was sucked out of her. She silently walked to the door, opened it and with a glance towards him walked out.

Beside her, sat Shehryaar who was busy typing something on his laptop. She supposed it was a response to one of his mails.

A minute ago, we heard the hunter's footsteps away who got here in the jungle again to look for wolves or vampires they could get to bring into the city for an experiment. "Hey, are you gonna stay on top of me?" I blinked and quickly left Marcus's top. I averted my eyes from him. He was also standing while rubbing his pants. I walked away ignoring him because I was embarrassed. I couldn't keep looking at him because he might think I was enjoying being on top of him. I still feel my cheeks getting hot. I'm ashamed! Why am I stunned again? "Syrie, that's not the way." I frowned and stopped walking. I looked at what I was going through, it was thick and obviously not a way to go to the village.

[Briar’s POV] I stare in disbelief at the psycho bastard who watches me until the doors to the elevator I stand silently in closes, making a decisive line between us both. Only when I can’t see him anymore do I collapse against the wall while my heart begins to hammer in my chest. “Fuck,” I hiss, reaching up and pressing my hand against it. “What the fuck is wrong with him?”

Unfortunately, I was nothing but an incorporeal spirit. I couldn't touch them even if I wanted to. There had been a storm last night. I was lying on the ground and barely hanging on to my last breath when the ground began shaking. A gaping chasm opened up suddenly before me, causing the shed to collapse right on top of me. It crushed me. I watched as the chasm widened. The split kept creeping closer to me. Then, something struck me in the head, and I blacked out.

The abyss devours them as we speak. A flick of her wrist, and the void ripples. An image forms: Ryland slumped against a crumbling monolith, his breath shallow. The twins huddle nearby, their hands clasped, light and shadow sputtering weakly around them. The ground beneath them fractures, tendrils of the abyss licking at their heels. “Stop it,” you whisper. ***You stopped nothing***, she laughs. ***You only delayed the inevitable. But I am generous. I’ll offer you a trade.***
