Chapter EIGHT - Meagan POV It was another day. But not just any day. Today is the boxing event, golden rays piercing through the wall of windows in an unwelcome wake-up call. Megan stirred beneath the luxurious sheets, body tense and mind already whirling. This was it - her moment to reclaim the narrative that her ex, Miles, had so ruthlessly tried to hijack.

' Aurora listened to Megan's song till she fell asleep and drifted to Dreamland. Aurora woke up as early as 6 because she needs to go to the gym. It has been long she worked out and she was beginning to feel like she is getting fat. Megan is doing a great work by making her overfeed. She saw a gym not far from the house when she was going to work yesterday.

And as she eats her breakfast, she can’t help but recall what happened last night. After the agitating confrontation with Naia, Megan went straight up to her room to try and sleep everything off. She tossed and turned for hours before realizing that it was no use. So, she headed downstairs and found Jared also awake. He was playing Mario Kart in the dark and truly got the shock of his life when Megan entered the room.
