I was never a wine person, but this one tastes nice. “Look, I know it’s not my place to say this, and I shouldn’t get involved, but you are my best friend, and I can see the pain in your eyes. Every time we see a man in a suit walk through those doors, you look to see if it’s him. You can’t be living like that, you either fight for him, or you let him go,” Steph says.

He gave me a glass of water, I drank it, and because of clumsiness the water drip from my mouth but he wiped it off immediately. “Ehem, so sweet ah!” “Ehem there’s someone here. For a second back there, I could see a flash of Stephen's face, the similar helplessness and dread from a myth turned nonfiction. “That’s what friends do..” he bumped my shoulders. “Yeah, I guess…”

"I wonder what's wrong with these maids. They should have called me the moment you got here." Sterly scoffed. "You came as soon as we did." He pointed out. Linda clicked her tongue. "I should have waited for you here then..." I couldn't help but laugh. "Hi?" Stephen's shy voice came from the side. He was always like that whenever he saw pretty sisters. I felt amused. Linda's attention also shifted, and she waved kindly. "Hello?" "Ah, this is Stephen, my best friend." I introduced. Linda's eyes widened slightly. "Jared's best friend? Nice to meet you, Stephen." She shook hands with him.

We sit in the fairly large cozy parlor—a part of my bedroom. "I thought to check up on you, man." "Thanks," I acknowledge, "You look like you would be bursting into a club." I take to note his outfit. His vintage shirt and pants, trimmed hair and shiny gold wristwatch. "If that's where you want to be, let's head there," He smiles. "Nah," I object. Stephan is the closest to a brother. We've been through a lot together and the universe knows it. Our friendship has passed through the tunnels of disagreements, fun, business, and a lot words could not place together.

He heard from Stephanie’s friend that Stephanie is in love with an anonymous guy, that’s why she kept on rejecting every guy that ask her out . “So Senior, why did you abandon medicine to join business?”

"I am really so sorry for whatever he had done, Mr. James!" Stephen apologised as he forward a glass of water to him. "Is he your friend?" James asked and Stephen nodded his head in yes. "Yeah... We are best friends... But honestly, he is not like this. He Is best friends with Kylie too. He doesn't like when anyone tries to misbahev with her!" Stephen answered and James nodded with a smile. "He is your bestfriend... since when?" James asked sipping on his water.

But he made me feel comfortable Like I was allowed to be myself around him. “Yeah. I am Poseidon’s step-brother.” And I was banging him.

Stephen said while looking deeply in Damon's eyes, making sure he knew that he wasn't joking at all. Disappointment was clear in Damon's eyes. He knew his best friend. He knew that whatever his friend was saying, he was capable enough to make that come true. Stephen has always been like this. Full of anger, ego and stubbornness. He wasn't like this from the start though. Years of sufferings, cruelty has turned him into this. He was so much into all these negative feelings that only God knows if there is any coming back from him or not.
