She was no fool to not know that Steff is the short form of her name, Stephany.

Stephen had a bad feeling and hurriedly rushed out of the station, trying to call Mr. Lynch. However, no matter how many times he dialed the number, the line did not connect. He quickly informed the police chief and told them to search for Mr. Lynch.

I take Stephen’s hand and shake it. “You’ve already met Gabriel Stanley.” Gabriel raises his eyebrows and winks playfully. I smile and wink back.

“I don’t know what you think you saw—” “I saw the grunt from the lower barracks,” Stephen snarled, stepping into her space, towering over her. His voice was cold and dead, more dangerous than any yelling he could have been doing. “I saw him waiting in the trees. I know you were trying to set a trap for her. Haven't we done enough to her?”

I could not allow anything to happen to me and I knew that Tony won't. Before I could say Jack, he was already moving towards the door, ready to take on whosoever was there. "Who's there?" He asked. "Open this fucking door before I break it down!" It was Stacy's voice and I heaved a sigh of relief when I heard it.
