I rolled my eyes and kept looking in my mobile. I heard the door opening and I was quick to stand. My eyes landed on a short thin old lady and tall old man. They both were smiling as they entered. I smiled as I moved forward to greet them. “Hello, Sir, madam, I am sapphire Ronaldo. It meet meeting you.” I said as politely as I could to my future in laws .

Murmuring rose in the crowd as a lot of them agreed to the statement. Sebastian tapped the microphone until the crowd fell into a hush, and he continued. "I know a lot of you are familiar with the inner workings of a business, but we are not here to discuss that. Today, the reins of Harrington Holdings will be changing as I am placing someone that I know will be able to push us to greater heights. He may have his faults; I mean, don’t we all, since we are all humans? But I have seen him work, and I know how much of a hard worker he is. I believe I can sleep well knowing that the company is in safe hands. Please help me make welcome. Nicholas Harrington. The new CEO of Harrington Holdings."

Sera's dad was okay to see his daughter come back safe and sound. It's been a week and Mr Sterling hasn't gone to work. He decided to go to work one day after recovering from the shock. He went to his office very early. While sitting down and contemplating, he remembered the security’s words and called him on the phone to come to his office immediately. Mr. Harrington on the other hand had been celebrating his victory with his staff ever since he came back from San Francisco. He's now become a public figure. He had wanted to gain recognition ever since he lost it when he inherited the company from his dad.

The waves crashed mercilessly against the side of the vessel, and Alexandro stood at the helm, soaked to the bone, his cloak heavy with rain. His eyes scanned the endless stretch of sea ahead, as if by some miracle, Serena would appear from the mist. His wolf, Ravik, was restless inside him, growling with frustration and fear. Season 2 Starts: Victor was in his study, his hands trembling as he drank another glass of alcohol. Olivia’s absence was like a huge wound, and no amount of alcohol could numb the pain. We arrived at the Harrington Center, a towering, modern building that radiates prestige and influence. Mr. and Mrs. Harrington were already at the head of the extended mahogany table as we entered the elegantly appointed conference room, displaying a blend of curiosity and anticipation in their expressions. Olivia was also in attendance, projecting an air of composure, though her gaze hinted at a touch of doubt. "Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Harrington," I said respectfully. "Allow me to introduce my colleagues, Carlo Xavier, our Chief Information Officer, and Eric Martinez, my Executive Assistant."

Selena’s POV I knew that face. Dante Harrington. The first son of the Harrington family. Their heir. The one the tabloids called The Devil of Eastbridge. He stood at the far end of the hall like he owned the oxygen. Even with the buzz of conversation around him, the air felt… still. Heavy. His presence sucked the noise out of the room like a vacuum. Dressed in a tailored black suit that looked like it was stitched from silence itself, he was tall, sharp-jawed, and cold-eyed. Those eyes, steel gray and merciless, looked like they’d watched empires burn and felt nothing.

Now the project was delayed; the deadline was tight, and on top of that, they’d wasted their big boss Sam Harrington’s, multibillionaire and head of the Harrington Empire, time and money. Everyone, Daniel included, respected and worshiped Sam Harrington, a most hardworking, disciplined, generous, and honorable man. Sam was like the sun to them all, giving light to those in the dark and warmth to those in the cold. He helped many grow under his radiance through his ability to save companies that had gone under, startup inventive businesses before anyone saw the opportunity, and do ludicrous deals everyone was too afraid of.

I had a flurry of questions, but the overwhelming nature of the situation prevented me from processing them. From a distance, I observed the men taking out a large machete, and the sight of the sharp blade sent shivers down my spine. The men then handed the machete to Dane, who raised it above his head in preparation for an impending execution. The gravity of the situation was palpable, as I struggled to accept the horrors unfolding before my eyes.
