He shrugged but I froze as soon as he said that he wanted it to be real. When I was planning the trip, I knew that many things would be at stake but my heart was not one of them and that was not something I was willing to risk.

Not wanting to grab more attention to myself or scare off people, I take a random turn into the nearest forest. The most fucked up part about a lie is that it changes everything you ever believed in, because every turn your thoughts take you, you stop and wonder which line in between was a lie and which one wasn't. I have passed this message to my children, my children to my grandchildren; and it will continue to trickle down to several generations. Life challenges taught me how to retrain my mind to be a positive thinker in order to wield things the way I want them towards me through my imaginative powers. I have learnt to be conscious of the thoughts I allow in my head. When the fear of uncertainty or negative thoughts set in, I simply shut down the thought process and only imagine how I want the situation to turn out in my favour. I have learnt to nurse only good thoughts in my head till it becomes a reality, irrespective of the true state of things.

Or What if. 'Stop this Emily' I groaned as I tried to block the negative thoughts from coming through my mind. "Emily, I need you to be a optimistic." I told myself using my hands to fan myself. "Everything will be alright. Yes everything will be alright. You just need to believe that." Isn't that all I ever wanted? To be finally happy. Now I have found a way out, I just need to try out this way and have faith.

Or maybe this book is trying to say that stop being foolish for something we didn't know or understand. After all the world is big for us to conclude that some things are impossible. Change your mindset people! Maybe, I should too. Living reaper? Damn it!
