Even the comments section froze for several seconds before it exploded again.

Madison, on the other hand, promptly filed for leave. I thought I had done a good deed, but I never imagined it would be the reason I ended up dead.

I could almost touch it… I froze and realized that something changed. I could no longer hear his steady deep breath. I looked down and saw a pair of red-glowing eyes staring back at me.
