Guilty Pleasure #2

Guilty Pleasure #2

“I won’t push. But if he breaks your heart, I’m going to key his car.” “Duly noted.” Later that evening, the two girls lay in Elena’s bedroom, music playing softly from her Bluetooth speaker. Avonlea scrolled through memes on her phone while Elena stared at the ceiling, fingers laced over her stomach. “Do you think people ever really stop feeling guilty?” Elena asked suddenly. Avonlea looked up. “Guilty about what?” “Things they want. Things they shouldn’t want.” There was a pause. “I think guilt just means you care,” Avonlea said finally. “It means you’re not a sociopath.”

Redeeming My Alpha

Redeeming My Alpha

“The safe place where you should have all escape to. The place I created for my people to run to, looks something like this.” I can feel his regret and guilt, and I know that all of us who survive that day felt the same thing. That’s the funny thing about guilt, it shows you several versions of what had happened and what you could have done differently to have a different outcome. You would repeatedly torture yourself with the never-ending questions that begin with ‘What if?’

HEXA : MERCHANT OF DEMISE

HEXA : MERCHANT OF DEMISE

“Who is speaking nonsense? When I helped you both wipe your crimes off records, you both were digging a big pit to trap me. How do you expect me to react?” “Let bygones be bygones. Gil, don’t you see our friend is in the misery of losing his family?” Cherry explained, to calm the ragged Gilbert. “He is always in the misery of losing his family. It’s no big deal for him. He did it in the past, so he is doing it in the present. Look at us; you have survived with your talent of wood-crafting. Cherry, you may get to sleep after you have the heart to kill the person who gave you shelter. But for me, the guilt killed me and it haunted my many nights until I got this job.” Gilbert hinted at some mi

It's a very developing novel, the more we dive in, the more the story gets interesting and intriguing. I love the characters, and it really portrays a lot of parts of the novel. The story is overall smooth and in place. I also loved the soft smooth developed work of the author, it melts my heart.

What an amazing story with ghost romance.. The author just shown the plot rather writing it. The first chapter, the opening poem and the very intriguing blurb - it hooked me, totally recommending this story.

Claiming My Alpha

Claiming My Alpha

I still did my duty as her Chosen Mate by never forgetting any special date like our anniversary or her birthday and made sure that I have something nice prepared for her and a gift to give her. I trusted my father’s choice as he trusted his best friend. I know my father blamed himself for what had happened to me, even after I told him that I am not blaming him. Guilt is like a prison we create for ourselves. We lock ourselves inside it hoping that the reason for our guilt will come and open the doors to save us. Some are saved while there are some who are left forgotten. Leon stopped in front of the store that was owned by the only friend my dad had left. He stopped the engine of the car an

As the story evolves, you can tell how much dedication the author has spent developing each one the main characters as they grow stronger together throughout the book (instead of just focusing Drake and Athena). You can feel the emotions no matter how dumb, silly or painful it is. Excellent Job!!

Was a really good read. Just a little disappointed in how it ended. The whole books geared you up for this type of war to happen but at the end it just leaves you hanging. Maybe the sequel will answer all of the questions that were brought up in the first one..

The Lost Lycan Princess.

The Lost Lycan Princess.

And that day, I became one. With what face could he look at Maddie again? How could I educate my children, knowing what I have done? Maybe it was the upbringing my parents gave me. One in which “thou shalt not kill” resonated in the subconscious of any human being who has been evangelized as a truth inherent to the condition. A truth that accompanies guilt when faced with failing to comply with the rules of the divine being. But I was surrounded by divinity... However, my recklessness resonated like a constant echo. Maybe my body and mind shut down because of guilt.

After The Divorce: Ex-Husband Regrets And Begs Me

After The Divorce: Ex-Husband Regrets And Begs Me

The heavy weight of guilt never left my side for a single day. I felt guilty for the cruel way I had treated him in that garden. I felt guilty for the cold, dirty lies I had forced out of my mouth. I felt guilty for shattering the gentlest soul I had ever known. I carried that guilt everywhere I went like a heavy iron chain wrapped around my chest. I carried it through my biggest career wins, my private failures, my best moments, and my lowest points. It was a constant, stinging reminder of the absolute worst thing I had ever done.

His Broken Angel

His Broken Angel

After thanking the guard, she shifted her gaze to the sacred building of church. Today was a special day. A year ago on this very day, she had a taste of bitter venom called guilt. Guilt is a heavy emotion. It weighs the bearer down. Like a barbed wire, it constricts one's heart, mercilessly biting and splitting it. The victim can't do anything but endure. Angela was enduring the pain for the last one year. On this day, she had lost her baby because of her recklessness.

ML is poorly built,he does many contradictory things, which makes his character not believable.FL is the type who will love her husband to the moon and back even if he disrespects her all the time, she has no self respect.ML is not faithful. If you're not into these type of stories, don't read.
Analice Cruz
The cheaters are never truly punished for their adultery and the plot just kind of treats it as something completely justified and pushes the reader to see them as victims. The only person who got screwed over by everyone for no reason was the FL, and she's still forced by the plot to forgive.

Puck, Passion, and Broken Promises

Puck, Passion, and Broken Promises

"The interview." "Bullshit." "Excuse me?" "You heard me." He walks to the bar. Pours whiskey. Doesn't offer me any. "You didn't drive across the city at nine o'clock wearing that dress because you want a quote for your article." "Then why did I come?" "You tell me." I don't answer. He drinks. The ice clicks against the glass. "I read something once," he says. "About guilt. How it makes people confess. How it makes them seek out the person they wronged. How it makes them want—" He stops.

Seventh Seduction

Seventh Seduction

I laughed at his silly stories, swam my laps beside him, shared the last piece of chop, all while the guilt sat there—solid, unmoving, whispering that I was already lost between two men and never knew how completely I'm drowned. Then a thought clicked in my heart. What if it was a test? What if the two brothers knew they were having me? What if I was the one played? What if they get back home at night and laugh together, telling the other the story of how I moaned for them? What if this ?What if that ? I forced my wandering mind to a stop. A deeper guilt engulfed me.
