Sofia's POV It's almost two years had pass and my child will be turning two years old by next month. Everything that happened to me in the past still so fresh in my head. Forgetting all of it was so hard for me. I was living far away from Drake and even until now, I have no idea of what happened towards him. My friends keep visiting me in here because Blaze told them about my whereabouts. “Sofia…” Calithea called my name and which made me turn around my head towards her direction. I am here in the terrace attempting to freshen my mind. My son was with Cressida and Zehra. Yes, I gave birth with a boy and named Luke.

I strolled over to the projector, hit play, and let the pictures do the talking. Plain as day, Samuel talked about not only his deep, undying love for her, but also her incredible use of magic. He seemed as impressed by her skills and brain as he was by her looks and beauty–just as I was with Mila. And there it was–about three-quarters of the way through the book–just what I was looking for.

Then, she drove to pick up Ethan and Emily. Sofia was right, Emily had become a bookworm. She was reading a book when Sydney picked her up from Sofia's; she was reading a psychology textbook she got from God knows where at four in the morning. Ethan, on the other hand, was a pain in the neck. Sydney wondered how timid Sofia was to take care of him. She owed her a lot. She had been a lot of help to Sydney over the past few months. Maybe she'd love to go out with Sydney tonight. Sofia was twenty five and she had only been in one relationship. Sydney was bewildered to hear that Sofia wasn't bad with her looks. She wants to talk. Celeste drives to meet her. She comes home that evening, quiet but not sad. "She needed to be heard," Celeste says. "Did you hear her?" "I tried." "That's all anyone can do." --- Winter is coming. Sofia is writing stories now — wild tales about dragons and astronauts and a dog who could talk. She reads them aloud at dinner, her voice dramatic, her hands gesturing. "You're a writer," I say. "I'm practicing." "That's the same thing."

He hasn’t had his first shift yet. Sofia found us. She was a rebel in the human world living among them and causing trouble, but she found us one night and well… she just never wanted to leave so we didn’t force her to.
